Someone left a message regarding a state tax matter.  They left their extension and their name.  Being that there is no connection between our states, it is just an irritating waste of time call and will be reported if it happens again.

I am in TAX discussions with IRS. I got a call from this number,  BerkShire Financial sevrices,  the very next day.  I guess they get a list of names from IRS

They called my cell phone, concerning a business that I know of. Stating it was concerning a Federal Tax Issue. please call Jason at 877-862-3102 ext 246

Received a phone call from this number offering the right first name and wrong last name, they stated it was regarding a tax matter, the person left a name as Jan Berkshire and that she had a file on her desk regarding right first name, wrong last name with my cell phone number and that it would really help her out if I could call her back at (877) 862-3102 and ask for Jan or her extensive 227.  I have no tax issues so not calling her back.

must be a scam. they said irs had filed a lien under my name.  i have had no communication from irs.

Received a call on 10-11-2010 at 10:51am from Berkshire. The caller, Stephanie at 1-877-862-3102 Ext. 242 stated that she was calling about an Income Tax Issue. The person they claimed to be calling was not and never has been a resident here. I called the number and Stephanie stated that she would have my number removed.

Cold call saying he had a federal tax matter to discuss with her...

Got a message on my answering machine...asking for my husband, regarding a "tax matter" and left a first name and a #.  My husband & I have NO Issues open with any tax agency(federal, state...no one!  I read few posts here and other info on GOOGLE.  This company, Berkshire, claims to have a good rating with the better businesss bureau.  Maybe that rating is based on people who actually call their # back....but.when someone asks you to call them about a NON EXISTANT "tax matter".........kinda makes you think............scary!

Had a voicemail from 877-862-3102 and answered a call from 303-862-3102, both on cell phone. Both are from a company called Berkshire. "Stephanie" said she was calling in regard to a tax matter and said a lien had been placed. There are several people with the same name in the country. We have never done business in or lived in Colorado, where Berkshire appears to be based, and as far as we know we have no issues with the IRS or with our state taxes. We recently refinanced our house, which may have produced public document filings that attracted Berkshire's attention, but all taxes are paid. I asked to be placed on Do Not Call list and said I'd report to state attorney general's office if we received further calls. She said she would place on DNC list.

I just got a call from a Sean Medieros at 877-862-3102 x401. He had my last name correct, but the incorrect name of a company I dissolved 3 years ago (it was three letters and he had the wrong three letters for the company name).... number popped up as a Colorado number, but it's allegedly concerning my state taxes... in California. Hmmmmm...

Voicemail from Jordan at Berkshire Capital x 222 regarding payroll matter. I have no payroll matter. Weasels. This apparently is not Berkshire Capital, so they're playing off Warren Buffett's name and using another company's name to get credibililty.

This is Berkshire Capital Partners, BCP Tax, Berkshire Tax Resolution Group, they go by all kinds of names.  I went to the trouble to research all these types of companies.  Names, addresses, google research, BBB research, and in some cases supreme court research.  Thousands of people hire these companies every month.  I tried to be as impartial as I could, “just the facts,”.  Some of them have multiple locations, and some of them have multiple names in the same location.  14 Linked reviews for all the companies are at the bottom of the article.
