Caller asked for me.  I said hello,   they said we respect your privacy I said, "who is this?" and they hung up.  weird.

Was surprised to hear me answer the phone. Said she's calling to collect money for cancer victims and started going into a speech. I finally told her I'm on the National Do Not Call Register. If legitimate organizations want to collect money for cancer victims they better not call people illegally--and during dinner time.

They have called at least 3 times a week saying that they are collecting money for cancer victims. I have asked them nicely to stop calling but they continue. Next time, I won't be so nice.

missed the call from them but got the number off the caller id name of person calling said "toll free number" i called the number back and got put on hold for about 30min before i was sent to a voice mail box. didn't get to leave a message because there system disconnected the call. what got me mad about it was they called me after 8PM and i was asleep *the message from when i called said they where a charity collecting money for cancer. which i find hard to believe if there calling after 8PM and i am on the do not call list also. but the do not call site says that i will still get calls from "phone poll takers, political and charity organizations.

unwanted intrusion from "Toll Free Number".  I did not answer and no message left.  Called in close proximity to request from (877)367-7320 fraternal order of police and some probable survey company at (970) 568-5208. I wonder if they are all three related.

Caller  knew my first name. Started out by saying they were  NOT collecting money for cancer RESEARCH but then went on to say they are collecting money for cancer victims. Girl had a prepared speech and  talked fast.

called and asked for me by first name. then quickly went ointo speech about needing money for cancer victims. I told her i was on the do not call list and she kept talking.....I hung up.

Called us but no answer. I screen calls by looking up numbers at times. I hate this honestly.

800 Service is an autodialer company which allows subscribers to hide their identities.  800 Service provides an infinite number of 800, 866 and 877 phone numbers.

I do not know the name of the particular subscriber who called and hung up on the answering machine.

Call came in on my unlisted phone number. Caller knew my first name and then went straight to a recording telling me about collections for cancer victims.  This is not the first time they have called.   I can't seem to locate any information on this company to stop the calls.

Rec'd call while at work on cell phone, right before noon.
No message, but able to access on this site.  Does sound suspicious.  Will monitor, and hopefully will not receive multiple calls as some others on this site have.

I am on national Do NOT call list. From reading the above messages I wonder if it is a legit non-profit but it sounds unlikely given the hang ups, lack of pertinent info, etc.

I am getting so tired of businesses calling numbers on the Do not CALL lists. How do we get them to understand that not only are their actions illegal but that they are wasting both their time and ours?

At first, I told them it was OK to send me some info. I then checked with the BBB. I called them back an and canceled.

These are professional fund raisers. They operate under the guise of a charity. Less than one percent of donations actually go to help people. The rest goes for admin and in someone's pocket. This is sad.

It's a scam business called Cancer Fund of America. Arrest the members of Cancer Fund of America now!

Found out that fraternal order of police, also a scam, is also behind this scam outfit.

This number keeps making calls to our business and to our homes.  Please stop them.  They say they are calling for a charitable organization that cannot be traced.  Who owns this number?  Is there a way to report them to the authorities?

I received this call today and it came up Toll Free Number. I didn't answer it. My number is unlsted and is on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY!!!!

These people called me around 12:30 PM today.  Asked for my father.  I asked who was calling.  Dead silence for about a minute.  Then the caller launched into a mile-a-minute speech that she would not stop, despite me asking politely to be put on their personal Do Not Call list.  She kept talking, and wouldn't even take a breath until I hollered into the phone at the top of my lungs PLEASE PUT ME ON YOUR DO NOT CALL LIST!  Then I hung up and reported her to donotcall.gov

This number called me at 3:30 today, I am ill and was sleeping. These people must be stopped!!!!!

Lady that called from this number (877-867-4596) said is not going to stop calling I have got something for her when she calls back it's called police whistle godd luck with her eardrums hahahahahahahaha
