Debt collector. They left a message stating so, and said to call back for John Donovan. The message was a female voice. It sounded like a machine, but it also had what sounded like a British accent.

Very RUDE woman named Susan asked for someone who doesn't live here.  She would not state why she was calling or who she was making the call for.  I hope someone finds out what agency this is and shuts them down.

This number calls mell the time.  Each time they are asking for a different person!

They keep calling but never leave a message

not only are they persistent, but they are stupid. they wait for my voice mail message, they wait for the beep, and then they say HELLO HELLO HELLO ten times. Morons.

No message no answer when I do answer the call.

Its Transworld ( AKA Trans ass) this is a collection company. Save in your cell as Transworld and never ever answer this call. They have no power to do anything to you by contract. Wait till you have the money to repay the debt and call the the main debt holder direct and repay them. You know who that is. If you dont have the money cause your likley out of work there is no reason to answer anyway you will just get a butt whipping and who needs that. These people will call 3-10 times a day from several numbers so save them all under transass on your cell and never ever answer. It will get to be your daily release from frustration and it feels so good to laugh at them since their breaking the law anyway. When you get back on your feet pay the the bill. In the mean time up yours Transass.

This is Transworld a debt collector they have no authority what so ever they can just call the crap out of you dont answer the phone ever just keep saving the new numbers to your cell so you know who they are when they call. There will be a good bit of numbers after awhile because they are breaking the law. The cell companys are very much aware of these guys and so are many state and local agencies and are trying to help, there are many lawyers working cases on these guys it is taking a little time but these guys will be stopped very soon. Ive noticed many other people are writing defence letters keep it up its pissing these guys off, How do you know well they will start calling twice as much and when that happens you know you pissed them off. Feels good doesnt it. When you get back employed call the person you need to pay money to direct never ever call these goobers. They have hurt many good hard working Americans who have come on to hard times. They did not abid or operate by the laws in doing so. I assure you it has not gone un-notice. Keep the faith and DONT ANSWER THE PHONE. The guy below is right look up their web page and use free services to do back ground checks on their list of employees most are pretty bad people. They use who ever they can pull off the street ( could be you or I if out of work) to dial all day mostly teethless drug addicts and promise them the moon and then dont pay them. Real nice people. Your lucky most of the time they have no problem stating their business, infact will call next door neighbors and family members you have not spoke to in years( that works out good cause your long lost family call ya to let you know and your back talking once again to them Thanks Transworld) there is nothing these guys wont stoop too. Save the numbers in your cell google all of them first to find out who it is( its easy just print the phone number in the google space with no dashes needed and boom there it is another Trans ass number) its funny reading all the other people in your positions comments. If in a state with laws protecting you from callers like this report them. Save your cell bill and get a print out cause like in Texas if and when you go to court for lets say a judgment the cell bill will help to get you released from the debt if your still on hard times its great stick it up their butts would that be somthing God works in special ways. DONT ANSWER THE PHONE this is that crazy debt thing the news is talking about these guys are a scam dont answer just save the number in your phone under crazy so you know when they call. Googel all numbers first to find out.

How to fight back. I do not answer my phone when a toll free number calls me or when a number I do not know calls me. I type the number into google and I find out who owns it. Almost all of the time a toll free number or a number I do not know calls me it is TransWorld. The key is to not give them any information. Remove your name from your VM message and if you do answer the phone and they ask for you by name hang up without saying a word. look up the number in google and if its not Trans World call them back. If it is someone you need to talk to just tell them the call dropped. I have recieved calls from 12 different numbers for TransWorld here they are so can block them like I have.

I've been bombarded by calls from these a**holes for two weeks now.  I have NO IDEA how they got my cell number.  I contacted all of my accounts and checked my credit report - I AM CURRENT ON ALL OF MY BILLS.  I will not return their calls.  If I actually owed money, they would send something to me in the mail.

This has been a great website, I run all the number through it and thanks to all, I at least know who is calling. Since I am debt free, it is annoying to receive them

These guys are real jerks.  I have asked nicely for them to send me something in the mail regarding this debt.  I don't argue I owe money, but I want paperwork.  They have refused to do so no less then 5 times now.  I refuse to just give my cc info over the phone to such a shady company.  During my last call with them, I was treated so horribly I didn't know to cry or scream.  The guy on the phone yelled at me and called me a liar and berated me and talked down to me even after I explained my situation(which was bad).  I genuinely want to pay this, but with how these guys treat me, I think I'm going to call my original debt and try to pay directly.
