This is blue cross calling with an important message for xxxxxx xxxxx please call back this number and type in the following extension.

Just got a call from this number for the third time in a week.  Computer message ask me to confirm my name and it did state my correct first and last name. Call them back using a pin xxxxxxx to receive important message. They say they are Blue Cross Blue Shield.  I do have BC&BS and I am all paid up.  If they are Blue Cross, then send me something in the mail. If you don't, then you are a telemarketer aka spammer or phishing. Never respond to a telephone call. Put it in the mail !!

Must have been a robo-call. We have a call blocker and it didn't get through.

The call was from Blue Cross, Blue Shield of Massachusetts. It is an automated survey.

My wife and I both received the following message on our answering machine: "This is Blue Cross calling with an important message for xxxxxx xxxxx.  Please call back this number and type in the following pin # (extension)."
My wife called Blue Cross using the phone # on our insurance card, and they told her they knew nothing about this call.  They thought it was a scam.

ENOUGH!!!!!!  These calls need to STOP immediately!  I do not want to be bothered from BCBS with hese unnecessary calls and have reported nem to BCBS of ma.  I told rep if they do not stop I will find another insurance carrier.  If I do not have a claim in, need help an I am up to date with my account these are UNWELCOME CALLS THAT NEED TO STOP NOW!!!!!!!

Same as above, purports to be from BCBS and gives a pin number for calling back.

I am a new member of bcbs, and just called member services. The bcbs rep verified for me that this is a valid bcbs welcome call. You do not have to respond. All the questions they are asking have been responded to when i signed up.

Scammers can spoof ANY number to try fooling their victims into believing they too are from BCBS in order to try pulling some Health scam or steal personal info. If YOU know it was a legitimate call for YOU, then great, but it is no reassurance to others who might receive a scam call. You couldn't possibly know who is calling others.
