- Jynckz| 5 repliesCollection agency called CRS in Ontario. They tell you they have priority mail and ask for an address or phone number.
Nice try though.- Caller: CRS
- Call type: Debt collector
- marieg| 1 reply"Candice" called to my home (mid-Vancouver Island area, B.C.) from "Priority One Mail" saying they had mail for me and left a tracking numbr T310137 that I was supposed to use when I called back. I didn't call back, but Googled first to discover that the call is a fraud. It is always important never to give information out to someone who calls you; you must always be the caller.
- TcatThis company called my place of employment and said they had a priority letter for me. I got the message and called them. They had a tracking number and said they did have a priority letter that was returned to the message centre from my old address. They now have the new address. Nice to know this service is here now.

- Jody| 2 repliesSimilar story as marieg.
Nice try too, as a name they're looking for is non-existent in my household! - Cheezed off in PG| 1 replyThis number IS from CRS, a Credit recovery place. I also got a call from them saying there was "Priority one mail" and to call them at 1-877-881-8088 and the lady said her name was "KAILYN" and they gave a "tracking number" for me to give when I called. I thought it was STRANGE that a person would call, leave a message, but not Identify what company they are from etc, but stranger yet was they left the message about "priority one mail" UMMMMMM THAT IS A POSTAL OFFICE JOB, i mean, a POST OFFICE sends CARDS in the mail telling you there is "PRIORITY 'post" not priority ONE, but POST. then the person would take the card to the post office and SIGN for it.
I did not call the number back right away, but within 2 days, EVERYONE with the same last name as me (in the phone book) had got either a personal call, or phone message from the same place asking for ME, and so on, This "kailyn" obviously went through the phone book, and called EVERY person with the same last name as me and pried for PERSONAL INFORMATION, for whatever reason I do not know because I have perfect credit, and for this "lady" to be doing this, is ILLEGAL
the phone number that comes up on the caller ID is 1-902-442-8588 but the phone number they leave to call back at is 1-877-881-8088- Caller: Contact Resource Services

the phone number that comes up on the caller ID is 1-902-442-8588 but the phone number they leave to call back at is 1-877-881-8088 - J from the PegI got a call from "Melissa" with a Priority One package for someone with the same last name as me, but a first name that doesn't live here. It just happened to be my dad's name. They gave me a tracking number T293716. I did call back (oops!) and asked if they were Canada Post or what, and they said they were CRS, and that they were like UPS. They pushed for info on my father, but I didn't give any, or any of my own info either.
Clearly they've figured that it's easier to con people by posing as a courier now...- Caller: CRS
- cat from bcGlad this service is here. I thought it was odd too that I would have a package with no notice from the Post Office, so before calling back I checked the number. Marietta called me, Glad to find this out they are probably looking for my ex husband, who I can't find either!
- Call type: Debt collector
- girl from OntThey called a lady that lived next store from me that moved over a year ago and left a message saying they had a package for me and she tracked me down thinking it was importon and i called them back before I thought much about it cause im expecting a package in the mail anyway! I gave them my address and phone number?? I sure wish I knew about this site first, what a good idea:)

- lolI got a call saying it was concerning my neighbour, someone I'd never heard of, and that they had mail for them. Why would I care if my neighbour has mail waiting somewhere?
- trinizzyUHHHGGG! i got this bogus call too...thankfully they only got my answering machine, and left a message... and i had the same "priority one" and tracking number bit by some guy named Roland! Thankfully, when i phoned back, (1-877-881-8088) they were closed and the message stated that they were "Contact Resources Services"--- a collection agency. Now my question is, how illegal is THIS! Posing as a Courier company to entrap people! These guys have got to be the lowest of the low!

- spookyjust got a call, but the name was a bit wrong (my husband's name is cary, not gary) and it sounded kind of weird so i didn't call back. caller also ID'd himself as "roland" and left a tracking number saying there was mail for him. glad i checked.
- Caller: priority one mail?
- GRRRRRRRR!!!Voice mail from a PEI # left a tracking # and 1-877-881-8088 (message was for someone with almost my name - but when I called back they knew my real name from call display), I called back - stupid, naive, trusting me, gives them my real address, doh! They said that they kept getting returned mail from a local address, it kind of sounded like the address of someone I knew, I am now fairly pissed off and will be making a complaint to Consumer Protection BC and the BBB and trying to reach a mgr at CRS (as I have gathered from the web that the # is used by CRS). I have perfect credit and for it to be marred by some crank calling fraud will be more than infuriating - after legal and conventional redress are exhausted I will be considering other options!
- Caller: CRS?
- Honey BeeI received a call from this company. Person said her name was Ellen and she was from the office if Cearis or something like that. I couldn't really make out the company name. She said it was about an important financial matter. She gave me a reference # and to call 1-866-771-5803. For one thing my phone number is in my husband's name and second she used my maiden name, which I haven't used in 14 years. What's that about? Think I'm calling back? HELL NOOOO! They can bite me!!
- joedanI've been getting the same phone calls ...from Person said her name was Ellen and she was from the office if CRS or She says it was about an important financial matter. She gave me a reference # and to call 1-866-771-5803.
