This number called twice. Once yesterday and once today so far. I answer but no one there. Dead air.

This number called us once each day this week (Monday & Tuesday) ... but no one was on the line at the other end.

This number has been calling me after 8 in the evening everyday for the last week as well.

I pick up and get nothing but dead air

I'm from Western Canada, just got a call from this number...I had been wondering who it was since they've been calling us several times in the past 2 weeks. Today someone was there, it was Sears Canada calling to ask if I wanted an extended warranty on the appliance I had recently purchased. It's legit, they had all my purchase and account info. I'm guessing they have some system problems if they call people several times a day or when you pick up theres just dead air. Its not a scam or anything, though, so no worries!

It's Sears Canada calling to extend warranty on appliances. Too bad they cant talk english. Told them no and that I wanted number placed on DONOT CALL LIST. If they dont comply, they can be charged under the new rules.
They use automated calling, which is why you get dead air, because the person on the other end has about 5 calls being made by the computer at a time.

That number 877-889-2024 has been calling here at least 6 times per day for at least a week - maybe two. No one is ever on the other end of the line. I'd just arranged to get call screening to block it and before the screening was put on the line today, the 877 number called again and this time, finally someone was on the other end. It was Sears maintainance agreement department - my extended warranty was running out! I called their head office 1-800-361-6665 to complain their system is broken. They have removed me from their call list and will mail out any info from now on. Sears promised to look into it.

This number - 877-889-2024 has called here numberous times.  I'm getting tired and now turn off my ringer most of the time ... my house is much more quiet now!

I've been getting the same calls, several times daily. Thanks to posts here, I called Sears and they will now contact via mail only. Ahhh, thanks other posters, this was driving me crazy!

Ya, I was recieving those calles 4-5 times a day with no messages being left and dead space on the other end.  I took RB's suggestion and called Sears, sure enough it was them who were calling about the same thing.  Thanks

Screened 11 calls in two days between 0815 and 2130 hrs.  Have had this number call many many times over months. Finally answered and had man identify self as Extended Warranty for Sears Canada. Searched "sears canada head office directory" on Google and found:

Was able thru them to have my name and number etc placed on a "do not call list (might take 30 days)" as well as any further contact limited to snail mail.

same here, i pick up, and no answer.
i quit shopping at sears because they have a crooked service department. now i hate them even more!
i shopped regularly at sears for decades, until that "kmart guru" got in there and screwed it up for loyal customers. i used to buy a couple of appliances every year from sears. they made some competitors very happy.

these calls are non stop!

Someone at that number has been calling several times a day for a few weeks now and I am getting tired. Why they keep calling and not responding then we answer? I will call Searsh and file a complain as well as request to be removed from the calling list.
