This collection agency is called Van Ru. On the messages they leave me, it says this message is for "Mr. J. Smith" if you are not Mr. J smith please hang up, if u do not hang up u are agreeing you are Mr. J smith. Never gives you a chance to tell them they have the wrong person and no call back info!!

i get these once or twice a day starting about 8:30am till about 11:00pm really F*N annoying

I to was getting these calls for someone who does not live at my home.  I called 800-468-2678 spoke with the operator who directed me to a Michael Martin I  had to leave a message but supposidly the calls will stop.  I hold him I was being harrassed we shall see.

I get this call 3 times a day looking for m martin .I dont know any m. martin .What a pain in the A** Who are these people they dont give any info

Pay your damn bills and you won't have to worry about these types of calls!!!

I got a call from these guys too. From the information i found out from the caller ( if its the real VanRu corporation you wont need to give them your social just your first/last) what they do is they take the first and last name of one of their debts and they call en masse to evey name in that phone book.

If the call is actually for you they will verify the last four of your social. I told them it wasnt correct and the lady stated "Im sorry, you have a common name, ill take you off our roster"

for your information i pay my bills as a matter of fact i probably have a better credit score than you.  Were just stating the facts you are probably one of the people in on the scam.  So if you don't have something positive to add or something dealing with reality keep your comments to yourself.  You don't no none of the people posting stuff on this website and to be honest most of us really have better things to do with our time, and we have jobs, unlike some people we no.  God bless have a great day.

You must not have read several entries where this company is asking for people who aren't the ones these calls are for? Also, if this company would give more info maybe we'll know if this is even our debt!!!

In case you're not aware, NO COLLECTION COMPANY IS LEGALLY ALLOWED TO CALL YOU AFTER 9:00PM YOUR TIME!!! I would go to the Better Business Bureau site & report this company. I believe it's supposed to be some company named Van Ru Corp from St Pete, FL. Good luck.

guess what - when i called this # back - they answered the phone
"Hi this is george" - no company name or anything else.

Coincidence?  Do you get paid minimum wage to harass people you loser!
