    Did not leave message, called 3 times on different days

    Received a call from 8778923279.  It came in on CID as 800 Service.  I did not pick up and no message was left.  I see from these posts that it's Brighthouse.  I have no service calls with Brighthouse so not sure why they would be calling and not leaving a message.

    I got the call on my cell phone!  No business, except my cell carrier has that number.  If this is from Brighthouse, with whom I have service, how did they get this number.  I never answer calls that have no name attached to them, so they didn't leave a message either.

    Just displays private caller and not telephone number.
    They don't leave a message, so it must not be that important!

    Here is the really crappy part about it,............Brighthouse should not, for any reason have my number on file that they called.  I do not have any dealings with them.  So where did they get my info.

    As soon as I saw 877, I knew not to answer

    Unfortunately the only cable service available where I am at is Brighthouse.  Like most others here I see no reason for them to be calling, esp. on my cell phone.  I will say they have crappy service and calling them is a joke and if you don't press the button to accept a follow up call the auto system just hangs up!  Unreal...wish Cox would come out where we are!

    Calls every 2 days, I pick up, they hang up. I put the number in my blocked call list from my service provider
    I have seven on there now and can have up to 30 numbers blocked for $5.00 a month
    Well worth it.

    This number keeps calling, and calling, and calling, and calling.  I DO NOT answer telephone numbers that do not have a name come up on caller ID.  The number they keep calling is my cell phone too!

    I recently had Brighthouse come out for a service change. The guy mentioned they'd follow up with a survey, after a search on Google and from reading previous posts, that's with this tel# must be. The aggravating part is their persistence. I'd prefer not having my phone constantly ring while at work. Once? Ok. Every-single-day? No, thank you.

    877-892-3279 has been calling just about every day sometimes several times a day. I am surprised that these comments say it's Brighthouse. Recently I have had things done by Brighthouse but i have responded to all their known contacts and I see no need for additional calls. I have no complaints with their services. If this # is Brighthouse I will answer.

    I am receiving about 2 calls a day (hang-ups whose reason for calling me isn't important enough to leave a message).  I see from other online reports, that the number is for Bright House Networks:  I have their cable service at my winter home. . .  1200 miles away.

    My number they are calling is on the Do Not Call Registry, but they apparently don't care.  They obviously have my email addy since they provide my interrnet access.........their bills are paid by automatic withdrawal........so there is absolutely no reason for them to be pestering me at all hours of the day and night.

    Yeah I'm like everyone else here... not going to answer a call from unknown caller ID
    However I just switched to cable internet and the install guy said to expect a call from Brighthouse customer service for a quick survey on the install.
    I almost didn't answer it but when I did there was a long pause before someone said hello.
    At least she idenitied herself as being with Brighthouse BEFORE asking for me by name. Otherwise I would have just hung up... lol.
    Anyway, I'm posting here because I too look at the internet to see if this number has been posted. Maybe this will be helpful.
