I received the following voice mail from an Unknown number on my cell phone. The message said it was for my father, but since it was left on my cell phone, I called back and was told that it was a process server who called me, but that they couldn't provide me with any information since the message wasn't intended for me. This is laughable because of the information they left in the voice mail that they weren't even sure was his. This is definitely a scam.

This message is intended for FATHER. My name is Nina Clarkson calling with US Document and Investigative Services.

One of our local agents will be dispatched out to this property address and place of employment within 24 hours between the hours of 8 and 10:15 am. This would be for the delivery of certified sealed legal documents intended for FATHER on behalf of a complaint that has been issued. This will be our second attempt for delivery. After the third and final attempt, we will be forced, unfortunately, to file FATHER as a failed action for noncompliance and evasion of delivery. To cancel, suspend, or to provide delivery instructions required, I recommend that you contact the issuing agency that has your tender services at 877-893-7640 and refer to file ID number ##-#####. If no contact is established with the issuing agent in the next three hours, we have no choice but to deem this address and phone number as verified for acceptance. Delivery will go ahead and proceed with our office as scheduled tomorrow between 8 and 10:15 am. Your photo ID is required at the time of delivery.

Hi there, did they ever come to your place?  It happened to me to but they never came between 8-10:15am.  How weird!

When I asked who was calling I was told Regency National Services (BG&M Associates) and the address they gave 420 North McKinley Street (Suite 111-441) Corona CA, 92879 when I looked that up was a UPS mail box location.  This number keeps calling looking for my ex-husband even though we have been divorced for 13 years.  They have even called my new in-laws (embarrassing) and continue even though I have told them to stop.  They are not legit process servers and are just shady debt collectors.  Ignore them, report them and sue them for harassment.

That is almost exactly what just happened to me except I answered the call (I don't usually answer 'private numbers' but I'm renting a room).  Same person (Nina Clackson) wanted the same thing but I refused to give info for my daughter.  I emailed my daughter and she found out it was a scam.  No one has come to the door but yesterday there was a small red toyota stopping in front of the house and looking at it slowly then went passed, turned around and did it again.  Never came to the door though, so far.

An actual Process Server is not going to have any conversation with you about any debt you owe, nor will they demand payment from you. If something like this happens, immediately call local law enforcement and make a full report including as much descriptive information as you can give them of the person impersonating a court officer.

I work for this company and it is not a scam! All it is, is a collections agency.

I got the same call as the first poster. They had my name,address,phone number and date of birth. Told me that I had a debt that was supposedly 8 years old from US bank told me they were going to sue me and send me to jail. I got pissed started calling them all kinds of stuff the lady hung up. Well I called US bank and they keep record of anything even if it's sold off I guess and they had no record of any closed charged off account with them of the times frames this company told me I had an account with them. I'd watch out they are scammers. Don't give out your info to anyone

Yeah you guys are. You were harassing me for a debt that didn't even exist. Leave people and their families alone.

Regional financial service , trying to sqeeze money for a old acc, that was closed and paid 2 years ago , wow theese people are very convincing but the internet is a ocean of in fo. Be careful of what you put out there.
