They call usually later in the evening but leave no message.
I cannot wait until the DNC waiting period is over!!

Caller identified themselves as "CallRight Marketing" calling on behalf of the Ottawa Citizen.

I indicated I was not interested and told the person to put me on their do not call list.  He then asked if I'd be interested in a different offer from the Citizen.  I repeated I wasn't and said to put me on their do not call list.  He asked why "for his records" and I responded that I was not interested, to put me on the do not call list and mentioned that I was now considering a complaint to the CRTC.  He started to say something else at which point I hung up.

I have received numerous calls the past few days from this number. I am on the do not call list and have filed a complaint through the gov website.  By law they are not to call anyone registered on the do not call list.  Others should complain too.

unknown name long distance call. Where is the CRTC to monitor & enforce the do not call list. We should not have to complain after singing up.

Receiving calls from this number repeatedly throughout the day also in the evening.  No one is ever on the line when I pick up.  I called the number back and it says that the mailbox belonging to "CRM" is full.
Filed complaint with the NDNCL.

Call everyday day and night, never anyone on the other line, tried calling back and a mailbox for Diana is full.... ONE really wierd thing had a long distance number call my house looking for this Diana person and called me several times before I called back and told her this is not who your looking for... could be a link???? at this point i dont have that number of the person looking for Diana (sad)

Called Bell and the CRTC as I'm on the DNC list.  CRTC is investigating, hopefully they'll find out something.  Whatever you do, don't push #1 if prompted to do so (advice from Bell).  That gives them free use of your phone number for long distance calls.

I got 4 calls in one day.  They keep calling and when I answer no one is there and then it hangs up.  I am on the DNC list.  Why am I getting these calls?

I've been getting calls from this number for a couple of weeks, different times of the day - morning, afternoon and even late evening.  The one time I was home and answered the phone, no one spoke on the other end so I just hung up.  My DNC has been in effect since mid-November, but I have no idea who this is so don't know who to report.

After a week of getting calls from this number 4 or 5 times a day with nothing but dead air at the other end of the line, I finally got to speak to someone.  Its a marketing company trying to sell subscription to the Ottawa Citizen.  After getting harrassed like this for a week, I told him that I would never purchase anything from them and that I did not want him calling here again.  I also informed him that my number was on the do not call list.  His response was that he would take my number of the list but that it could take as much as 31 days.  He also informed me that the Do Not Call List does not apply to newspapers.   This do not call list is a total waste of time.

calls several times a day no one talks. after looking on net found their direct phone number and called . they call for newspapers.  I asked them to take me off their list and she said they would.  hope it works.

keep getting calls from this number daily including weekends when i answer noone is on other end im really starting to get ticked off

Rec'd call at noon but didn't answer .. number comes up 1-877-894-0084 Kitchener-Waterloo.  After checking I see it's just another telemarketer.

They call 3 or 4 times a day, as early as 7 and as late as 10, so frustrating.
No one is ever on the line and never leave a message.

This number calls me at least four times a day. It starts at 9:00 am and doesn't end till about 8:30pm. If I pick up the phone I don't get a response and if I let it go to the machine I don't get a message, I ve called them back and the machine for the CMS is full. I ve signed up for the do not call list and I m still getting this. SO FRUSTRATING

unfortunately all newspaper call centers are exempt from the DNC list....as are others....like charities, political campaigns and businesses who you already have a relationship with....not the end all be all we thought it would be!!

We have been receiving 2 to 3 calls a day from this number so I decided to answer it hoping the calls would stop.
She identified herself as calling on behalf of the London Free Press.
I told her I was not interested a couple of times before she let me go.
I immediately went to the National Do Not Call website to complain because we had signed up in Nov 2008.
To my surprise newspaper subscription sales calls are exempt and charities and political organizations are exempt as well!!!!!
Our calls have decreased but what is the point of this do not call list?
