Just called the number back twice.  Jeff answered the second time and advised that they security systems and was wondering if I was interested.  Company name is Savantia or something along that line.

Got a call from this number, on a phone on the "Do Not Call" list no less.  The guy was selling some kind of security system.

Got a call from this # said they wanted to install a free alarm if we would put a sign in our yard ~ I told them they need to talk to my girlfreind they then asked for the owner of the house.  and then said they would call back ~ the conversation sound animated in a way. I asked if I could call him back and he said to call 877-897-1993 Home Security Group...

just got a from 8778971993 at 8:45 pm said they were alarm service. I'm on the do not call list and he said he received the number from are cable provider.

I received a call from them today also.  Something about them sounds untrustworth.  I didn't give them any information.

Received a cold call from "Kevin" 760-526-8108 who stated that "a company" would give me a free security system if they could put a sign in my yard. He refused to give the name of the company when I asked. He was rude, cut me off, and hung up on me in the middle of a question. A few minutes later "Devin Anderson" called me from this number 877-897-1993. He was also very rude, cut me off, cussed, and stated that he represented Protect America and GE. I phoned Protect America and they have never heard of him. Protect America is looking in to the issue.

I got the same call, but the caller was very polite.  I said I was on the DNC list and he apologized and said they would remove my number immediately and would not call again.

Still annoying, but at least polite.

Also called by "Kevin" from Home Security Group.  Call was to my cell phone, on DNC list.  When asked, Kevin said he was calling from Logan Utah (caller ID showed 402-982-0719).  Kevin put me through to a supervior (Danielle) who said that a "business partner" had provided them my number, but she could not tell me who.  She said to call back at 877-897-1993 for that info, but when dialed, that number just gives me dead air.

Interactive computer voice telemarketer. Would not reveal their mailing address. Called my do not call listed cell phone.

Man called my DNC cell number.  Gave me the 1877-796-8662--no one answers after selecting customer service option.  When asked where he/they got my DNC number, he said from a business partner.  Errrrr

I also got a call from Kevin, but from 206-397-1505.  When asked directly, he told me he was calling from 1-877-397-1505.  He said he was with home Security Group.  It sounded almost automated.

I too was called by "Kevin" but with an UNKNOWN number (caller ID block).  It was a sophisticated automated telemarketing application. Would not provide exact address only Logan, Utah and when I stated that I needed information to report to DONOTCALL the system hung up.

This company Home Security Group, a.k.a. Savantia, (206-397-1505; 877-897-1993) is calling my customers and telling them that our company provided the telemarketers the customer's name and phone number.

This is definitely not true.

Buy.com never, ever sells our customer information to anyone.

VERY SKETCHY...just received a call at my home phone, regarding the same issues as most of you.  They offered a free home security system with the stipulation that I use my house as an advertising platform.  I informed them that I would have to check with other roommates of the household and I asked for a call back number.  His name was Kevin and he was HESITANT TO GIVE ME A CALL BACK NUMBER.  I also asked where the company he was representing (Home Security Group) had their HEADQUARTERS AT AND HE REFUSED TO ANSWER.  I ASKED A SECOND TIME AND HE HUNG UP ON ME.  

DO NOT TRUST THESE CALLS!!!!

Got a call on my cell phone this morning from "Kevin" who told me his company was "in my neighborhood" recently and he wanted to talk to me about a home security system. I live in a different area code than where my cell phone is listed so it immediately sounded fishy. When I asked what neighborhood they were in he hesitated and said something about not having that information...I asked what the company was, where it was located, and what their phone number is. Here is the info he gave me:

Home Security Group; Logan, Utah; 877-763-1880

Caller ID showed the number as 206-397-1523

He was never rude and agreed to remove my number from his list.

Got a sophisticated automated call from a machine that sounds very real. I quickly realized it wasn't  human and stopped talking.  It continued speaking, prompting me to respond to questions about putting a sign up in my neighborhood for security systems.  After about 20 seconds, it hung up and I received another call immediately from 877-897-1993.  This was an actual person who thought there must have been a problem with the initial connection and wanted to continue the discussion.  Said he was from "Protect America" and got very upset when I told him what part of this American he could protect!

Somehow connected to this number.

I figured out that the first "Kevin" was recorded. "Kevin" recognizes such phrases as "Good, and you?" and "What company are you representing?" and replies accordingly. The only thing "Kevin" couldn't digest was my question "Can you call me back in one hour?" Shame on "Kevin"'s creators! I wonder if "Kevin" can do accents. An Irish Kevin would be a nice option.

Jerks called again.  Its roughly 3-months since they last called me (I see my last posting on 10 Sep).

This time, I didn't answer and simply reported them to the FCC.  Its quick and easy. If we all do it, [***] like these will eventually be out-of-business.
