Collection Agency not on the up and up. Said I owed a phone bill from 1998 this is 2007. Told agent to give me last 4 on the social without giving mine as it is not on my credit report and is not my bill. They have taken my name and tried linking me and conning me into paying it. Agent refused to give me info I said well you called me if you cannot give me the info then I will not tell you mine. So they said the next step would be a judgement against me for the full amount. I laughed at him and told him a few choice and that if it turned up on my credit the next call would be my attorney.

Received a call person left message saying to call 877-901-8400 ext 1385.
If this is a debt collector there is no reason for any debt collector to be calling me.
I have had 8 items removed from my credit report that were bogus put there by debt buyers and debt collectors who access your info then make up a fake account and post it to your credit report to extort money from you. My state does not allow me to block access to my credit report but I did put a freeze through the credit agencies themselves. I have turned one collection agency over to the State for investigation.
You should do the same. I have no idea why this person is calling me and I am not calling back.

I received a call from 877-901-8400 x1724 from a Mr. Simpson demanding a call back. Agent thought he had hung up the phone and began talking to his co-workers saying "we are gonna make millions!" then went on to say "man, i almost go some Pu**y last night". Angered over what I heard, I called back and demanded to speak to a manager in charge. Spoke to a woman named Patricia and told her all this agent had said over my voicemail. She apologized and continued to inform me of a Target collection that I owed. She insisted that if I paid her over the phone, giving her my checking account information, she'd give me a settlement of 70% of what I owed. I insisted she send me a bill and that I would not give this information to her over the phone. She got rather irritated with me and said she would send the bill but I would owe the full amt and only had 7 days to send it in. When I got back to my computer, I did a 411 check on the phone number. That phone number is listed as Apollo Car Rental Inc in New Rochelle, NY.. NOT a collection agency. I plan on reporting this entire incident to the authorities. DO NOT TRUST ANYONE CALLING FROM THIS PHONE NUMBER! THEY ARE NOT A COLLECTION AGENCY AND ARE TRYING TO STEAL YOUR IDENTITY AND "make millions". PS. I saved the VM on my phone as evidence.

Got two voicemails from UNKNOWN number.
Kevin Canter, wants a call back to his office with this number 877-901-8400, and some extension.

I refuse to call them. Especially unknown numbers where the number does not even display.

this is NCB management, they ARE a collection agency! collecting on credit card debt. STOP speculating and CALL if you dont know.

This called my mom's cell phone coming from withheld on caller Id  I found that number in her voice mail. Richard called I doubt that's his real name left a message saying debt we have never gotten mail from NCB management. To be honest heard of that name this is a scammer.

I made a typo in that post we have never heard of that group.
