Called claiming to be a state processor trying to serve an ex employee papers at work & after being told that she was no longer employed requested to speak w/HR. I am sure it was some type of bill collector because the # showed up "unknown" but this was the callback #!

Yup, got  the same message but it was not for me it was for someone else who has never lived at my place.  The name they gave was a person who died 5 years ago. I could not find this place online but they claimed they going to take my phone # off their list so I'll see if they followed thru

Called me for another person stated was looking for Erik James his name was John Gates stated they had a summons for him on fraud againt a financial institution. They even contacted my husband x-wife leaving a msg. to this effect.

Have got calls from this fake process server for two different family members in the past week. At first I was upset and not sure if this was legit or not, and was actually considering trying to pay these idiots. That was until I got some great advice. The name of the company, or at least all they will give, is NCS out of New York. Try calling them at the number the processor gives you...but dont give them your name...just ask for their mailing address +/or fax number. Any legitimate business, even debt collectors as long as they are above board ones who follow fair debt collection guidelines, will give you that information with no problems. NCS would rather cut out their tongue that give it. That tells me they are running a collection scam, which means they are S>O>L and wont be getting a penny from me. WHAT EVER YOU DO, DONT GIVE THESE [***] ANY MONEY OR CHECKING/DEBIT/CC INFORMATION!!

I received a similar call from the same number. No name, caller ID blocked. This is a running scam...the phone numbers change, but the messages are the same. They give out NO information, but threaten to come to my house. This is not legal. Every time I get this kind of call, I report it to the Attorney General and block the number though my wireless phone service.

I have been getting calls from a Harmony Springs saying that she is a private processor and has been leaving threatening phone calls stating that she is going to bring the authorities to my work for the past couple of months to serve me with papers.  She said that if she can't serve me and I miss my court date then its not her fault and that I will be charged with a failure to appear.  I have looked online for the case number and under my name and there are no pending charges against me.  She is now leaving these same threatening messages with my ex-husband and his family and even co-workers.  I thought these types of calls were illegal.

Rec'd a call from this number looking for one of our employees.  Said her name was Tracy Terry.  I called back and Tracy Terry is not at that location and they did give me a case number.  Said the company was NCS in their voice mail, but when I called them back and asked them what it stood for, they told me Nationwide--and I asked what the C and S stand for.  She didn't answer.  She wants to serve my employee with some type of subpeona--but pretty sure she is full of crap.  Told her to send me the legal release for information--don't think I will be getting that.
