when number was called back message prompted us to leave personal information

yes, i get a call from this stupid number every day telling me to call back due to an urgent personal business matter....

Hey, did you ever do business with bell or canadian credit adjusters? When I gave CCA my phone number this number started calling me..they called my parents too... gah.

This number calls me everyday. I don't know if it's fraud or not. I would like to know if it's really important call or not but I don't want to call back. It might be scam.

This number has called me twice in two days- the first just said "Hi this is Brian" with no message of what he wanted. The second time I answered out of morbid curiousity and got "Hello we need to discuss an urgent personal business matter with you but all of our agents are currently busy,  please hold and one of our agents will be able to explain this urgent personal business matter further". Basically it's a scam trying very hard to convince you that it isn't one. It may want to actually give more specifics to actually convince people;)

This number , calls almost daily we do not anwser any calls from numbers we do not know that do not call list really works,,,, at some point hopefully they will drop our number off thier system for lack of response,

its a scam record that your going to press harassment charges if they harass you again at your house.

Actually, I am pretty sure it is a collection agency. Been calling here, and when there was actually a person on the phone, they asked for my daughter. The phone is not in her name or even her last name, so they didn't get the number from the phone book.

I have received 2 calls from this number they told me that they are calling from Windows and that they have noticed that I have viruses being downloaded to my computer.

This number is always calling and other 866,877,888 numbers, I never answered them until recent to see what they wanted.  They ask for someone that does not live here and I tell them so.  Then they say my number was the alternate number to get the person that they wanted and if I could give them their number, and I say there is no number.  I ask who they are and they say alternate credit and his name was Brian.  I ask them again what it was about and his tone got angrier and repeated Brian from alternate credit, still not telling me what company who he was calling for.  Then he says my address and I hang up promptly.  Will not answer any more of there calls.  Pretty bad when my phone calls is mostly from these inconsiderate morands.  I do not have a phone and pay my phone bill for these harrassing idiots that want private information and expect you to give it to them.  They give you no information yet they expect you too give them information. Privacy Law works both ways!!!  My number is on a no call list so how can this happen.  I wish I knew how to block them forever.

Its a scam. They are rude and obnoxious as well and have no idea what they are talking about. Its some CCA Creditors who are just after your money. However if you look them up they are no one where to be found unlike other creditors. Just ignore their calls or tell them to stop calling and you want off their list.

I made the mistake of returning their call this evening and when I asked them what it was about they wouldn't give me any information.  When I insisted, they suggested that I obviously had a problem with an ex husband (which is far from the truth).  They told me that "I" was being antagonistic!

Their excuse is that it's a computer that generates the calls...

Don't call my home number with obscure messages and then scream at me that I'm being antagonistic!

this number called my house and asked for my roomate. when i asked if i could take a msg the lady sed she rather just alk to him... i asked again what this was they would not even tell me who they were!

they call for my wife, and i tell them i have full power of atourney on her behalf. They will not even tell the nature of the call nor the name of the Co represented. called back and i get an error message from the phone Co before the number has been fully dialed

Has called 3 times in the last 2 days.  Asks for a person with a strange name, although it is not a wrong number.  Sounded surprised when i recognized him from yesterday and said please don't call again.  We shall see.

Just had to share this joke....I received a call from another 877 number; it was a recording that said "all our operators are presently speaking to other customers.  Please hold the line until one is available to speak to you".  Even the spammers are on voicemail now!!

This is CCA on behalf of Bell mobility and subsidiary companies, in my case, at least. If your account goes into default, they will send your bill to collections. These people are always extremely rude when they call, never give any information, and will tell you that they are not "harassing you." Either pay your bill, or block the calls, because they don't give up. Personally, I plan on going to the ACTUAL COMPANY (Bell) that I owe money, rather than dealing with these people, just to be sure.
