- Kris| 4 repliesReceived a message from a male (could barely understand him) stating that there was a claim against me & that he needed to verify my address to send the papers to be served. He finished the message by saying my name and "YOU'VE BEEN NOTIFIED" Scam...scam ...scam.

- Bryan| 5 repliesI received several phone calls from Elilah Lopez (Hispanic accent, but very easy to understand) saying she received a claim on her desk this morning. I told her it is illegal to get this type of call and that it can only be provided, LEGALLY, via place of address. As she tried to continue I told her I will be filing a complaint to the FTC and other sources and hung up. She then called back several times, leaving 2 different voice mails (exactly the same transcript).
What really pissed me off is that my mother called me a few hours later, from a different state, saying she was called by a company about a claim, and it just happened to be Elilah Lopez. When my mother asked her about the claim Elilah said it is a legal document and she can't open it, but gave her the claim number(?). The really funny thing is that Elilah Lopez told my mother she has my address, which I never gave to her, and needs her to inform me of the call. How did they get her phone number?
After I hung up on her first call, that was listed as "Unavailable," she called me immediately from a Texas number 214-414-1037. If you call it back it says this number does not accept phone calls. The 877 number titles itself as Priority One Resolution, but there is absolutely NO result when I Google that name.- Caller: Priority One Resolution
- Lindsey| 4 repliesI received several calls in a row from an unknown number and when I finally answered it, a lady told me she needed to verify my address so that she could serve me with papers for not paying a loan in full. I've only ever had a loan like this once and it was 6 years ago, and I know I paid it immediately, so I was arguing with the lady. she told me to call 877-944-2714 to figure out what to do and she would call me back in 30-45 minutes.
When I called, another lady told me I had an opportunity to settle it right then for $750, but my loan wasn't even that much, so I knew this was incorrect and I told her to serve me with the papers then.
They had my address, last 4 of my social security number, last 4 of my bank account number. That's really scary!- Caller: Priority One Resolution

- LaurieSame exact as all others. I can't locate this company Pri Resolutions 866-717-0312. They said it is against my husband only and unless I give them his ss# they can't tell me nothing. I said well that's not happening. I said what kind of legal matter can this be to serve him at work as some male who called first said to me they were going to do? They said they can't tell me, I said he received nothing in the U.S. mail but it's that legal you have to go directly to his work to serve him. It is a scam and try to put fear in a person to give them what they want.

- DandemanAlright people these guys are phantom debt collectors; that Jaluv guy does not know what he is talking about. They use the same script with everyone. These people were called Lakefront Processing Solutions and Lakeside Processing Solutions. They pretend to be prelitigation server so they can skirt around the Fair Credit laws and try to get people. They attempted to collect on a PayDay loan I never took out. So beware. I filed a claim against them with the Feds, you all should too. They are changing their names ever two or three months and information come along about them.

- Elisa Gonzalez replies to Elisa| 1 replyis there anyway i can get them to stop calling? Theya re calling me everyday with an UNKNOWN number and leaving VMs to me and my family.. so annoying.
- WolfmanJack replies to Elisa GonzalezThere doesn't seem to be a company by that name, but this is common with criminal debt collectors. If you can get their address, you can send them a certified cease and desist letter. Most of these criminals won't tell you where they are located so that they don't have law enforcement knocking at their door. In the meantime, you can read the following and get more information at the provided links as well as make reports on their activities:
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
Read up on your rights here, get template letters to send and also make a complaint at this government site: http://www.consumerfinance.gov/
Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

They gave a different number this time. 866-755-7173. Called my cell phone and another number. Saying I have been warned. Well you said this 3 weeks ago and you keep calling from different numbers. How can they be stopped. He was very threatening saying he will find my place of employment and home address to pursue with legal issues. No debt collector does this and they send a letter to validate. What are the rest of you doing just ignore it. I am not calling back not wanting to get into a argument.
