877-944-8544  calls to offer me the Bergen Record newspaper almost DAILY.  I've asked them to not call me any longer. It is my cell phone!! I've registered on the do not call list for both home and cell phones. ARGH!

I just got a call from this number too.  From "The Aegis, a local paper."  I informed her this was NOT my local paper and is actually a few counties away.  She hung up on me.

They have called me at least 6 times a day. I don't pickup they hang up when my answering machine answers. Then they call right back at least 3 times. It is VERY annoying.

Got call about 5 minutes ago. No message.
Called once before as well, also no message.
Came on cell phone, which is now my only phone.
Normally, I'd have been woken up by this
call, as I'm usually in bed sleeping by now!

This number has called my business line yesterday and today.  There is no one on the other end, at least within the first 3-4 seconds.  The next time they call, I'm answering and holding down a button.  Maybe they'll think it's a fax and quit calling...

I am also called repeatedly at all hours of the day and night by this # with the same occurances.... however, upon looking at this complaint site, I called the number another complaintent came upon, and spoke to a rather nice lady who IMMEDIATELY emailed a department to stop them from calling me. That was only 5 minutes ago so we shall see how this pans out. Turns out this is a New Jersey based company and I am in MN!

Moved into house two weeks ago and number changed as we went to VIOP. Continually been getting calls from this number in early morning hours. With a 8 month old who wakes up at night, early morning for us is 7am. Every day. No messages, and no answer when picked up. Saw this thread and called back the number several times only to get music for about 30 seconds, then nothing. After 7th call, I got a young man who answered. I immediately asked to be removed from their list, and he said 'I am from the Pioneer Press'. I said I did not care, and that we did not want the Pioneer Press and to stop calling. He said that he would take us off. Will report back if that actually happens or not.

I got a call, but didn't hear it, and when i called back it just played a creepy song.

this number calls me almost every 5 minutes of every hour.  make it stop!!!

this same number has called me 21 times in the last 5 days... I get no one when I call back and they never say anything when I answer. This is starting to become a regular thing with several numbers for the last year... I have added my number repeatedly to the do not call list and it does nothing anymore. What gives... do we have to constantly be bombarded thru every source nowadays...

Newspaper subscription calls.   Multiple calls throughout the day/week.  No answer ever left on machine.  Caller ID only says tollfree number.  Today they called at 10:00 am and I decided to answer.  They were looking for a woman who once had my number (unfortunately our phone company recycles their phone numbers and the woman who once had my number has not updated anyone she has ever done business with/for or any friends and family with her new phone number). The woman on the phone was looking for the old owner of the phone number to talk to her about the local paper- the Sun Sentinal.  I told her that the woman was not at this phone number- that she had moved or changed numbers and to please stop calling.  She then asked me if I was the head of the household and if I wanted to take advantage of their special offers. I told her that if I want to subscribe to the paper I will do so on my own. Please take me off of their list and stop calling.  I then also called the customer service line of the Sun Sentinal and told them the same thing- take my number out of their subscription file- the woman who had subscribed was not at that number and I do not want any calls asking me to subscribe.  They said they would so here's hoping...

I have received over 15 calls from this number. When I answer, no one is on the line and they never leave a message. I would appreciate information of how to get them to remove me from their call list.

we receiving calls about this 877-944-8544 number. trying to find out who this 877 number belongs to.

Called twice on 5/2/2008. No response when I answered. No response when I called back.

this nbr called my pager 5 times.  My pager has no phone plan, how did they get thru?  I see from here its a scammer.
