- Jewls| 1 replyInform them not to call place of business, and they keep calling. Had to get a lawyer on them.
- BonBon replies to JewlsWho are they?
They keep calling my house but leave no message and I am on the no call list. - UnknownMale called asked if he had reached the Sam's residence, I said no. He gave me the Sam's address and asked if I lived near. He sounded like her really needed to get a hold of Emma Sam's. I gave him our managers office phone number.

- Bob23| 3 repliesConstar Financial services. A collection agency. They are very VERY rude and unprofessional. Called twice, called my wife and I liars. Spoke with Aline who was very nice and professional till she got our name place of business and address then said she was going to transfer us to someone who would help us make arrangements, then transfered me to a total creep who called himself Rick Adams who was very abusive. He refused to let us talk to a supervisor. When I called back and got a supervisor he claimed he had listened to the entire conversation and that Rick had said none of those things.

- smrude and repeatingly pestering my home, blowing up our answering device.
- RJBReceived a call on both my home phone line and office phone line looking for my 37 year old son. Rick Adams asked for the phone number for Human Resources for our company to verify that I am not the person he is trying to reach. My son does not have a phone or a permanent address. It appears these collectors just need someone to call, even if it is the wrong person who has nothing to do with the debt, just to say they are doing their job. I personally can't wait for ol' Rick Adams to call me again. I love to play with these guys. Note that the caller ID is "unavailable" so they may be masking their number.

- Close Personal| 5 repliesI have received calls from this company ConStar Fincial many times and they have really tried to help me with my debt that i got myself into..I read alot of these reviews talking nothing but sh*t about there employees such as Rick Adams who did all he could to help me.
I feel that the only reason that anyone is talking like that about these people is because they dont want to deal with the debts you got yourself into. Try talking to them and finding out what they can do to help you. they are just normal people like everyone else trying to make a living to support their families. put yourself in their position, if you have a heart to.- Caller: ConStar Fincial Service
- Don'tStealMyIDI got 1 call from Constar this morning. The lady "Margie" left her name and number so quick I had to listen to it many times. I thought she said "CoMstar" and when I googled it I didn't get any results. Only now, reading this do I realiza it was an "N" and not an "M". When I called back with the correct extension # I got a man's voice and I was extremely skeptical. I'm totally paranoid about ID theft. He asked my account # and when I said I didn't have an account he asked for my phone # to look it up. Indeed, someone in the area was using my name and # and AT&T was trying to collect (but why would a phone company have a bogus #?) I told him my "ID theft alarm bells" were going off and when he read me "her" last 4 digits of SSC, they thankfully, were not mine. "Not me" I said. He thanked me and hung up without asking for my SSC. I still feel creepy about the whole ordeal though and I'm worried now about what this sneaky person is doing with my name and phone # information...

- maxI too recieved a call last night on my work phone. The lady "Margie" left her name and number so quick I had to listen a couple of times. I thought she said "CoMstar" and when I googled it I didn't get any results. Only realizing it was CoNstart, I've never returned the call after researching whom they may be. I do not have outstanding accounts.

- Constar HaterReceived several calls from a man asking for me. Wanted me to verify the last 4 of my social. When I refused, he went on to give me details about me...my age and where I live. Called back several times to get their fax number to send a cease and desist letter. Each person transferred me to the very person who harassed me. I called again asking for a supervisor. Got a man named Rick on the phone who wanted me to verify my ssn. When I refused, he hung up on me. I believe this may be a collection agency but I still feel with a name like "Con"star, they can't be trusted. They are unbelievably rude to anyone and continued to harass me after repeated requests not to call me at my work or cell. I am reporting them to the BBB and to my lawyer immediately.

- JJ replies to Close PersonalYou sound like your one of the creeps that work for ConStar.
- indebtedI received a rude message from them but called them back anyway. Hal was very nice and wanted to setup arrangements for an old debt. He said everything would go much smoother if I offered 10% down and several postdated checks at a time. I told him I would think about it. The next day he called but I did not have my check book... still very nice. The next day he called again and I told him I would not send postdated checks but I certainly would be willing to work out a monthly schedule. He was no longer interested in the account and said he would forward to someone who could help me. I did not like the way he dropped the account and started asking him questions why... He said he was going to give it back to Hyundai with a report that I was willing to work it out. I didn't believe him and kept asking why he was dropping it. He kept giving me BS and I finally dropped it. I think he would not get a good commission and I'm worried he will send it back to Hyundai stating I would not cooperate.

- Totellthe truth replies to Close PersonalYou are Rick Adams. There is no way that this One person could have anything positive to say about this company. I think Constar's main objective is to be rude and nasty.
- CONCERNED CONSUMER| 4 repliesI really don't know who these people are...they are very rude no matter who you talk to. I have yet to talk to anyone there that shows any kind of respect. My advice is to keep turning them into the Federal Trade Commission... they will hear and file your complaint.
- AM replies to Bob23| 2 repliesDial X 636, very good person working there, might be able to help you with this DBT.
- JAKE SERIN replies to CONCERNED CONSUMER| 3 repliesTo be honest, there is a lot of people there who might be able to help you but you can't be offering 50 dollars a month on a 150000 DBT, so if you're complaining on that note, you really have no basis. I would try X 636, might be able to help you out with this. Good luck.
- STOP HARASSING FOLKSReceived call from Margie, asking personal information about someone I don't even know. Person doesn't live at this address. I don't know how they got this phone number, but I wish the calls would stop.
