They call CONSTANTLY. Don't give them ANY info.

These people call on a regular basis no matter how many times I tell them to take our name off their list.
They always ask if we have found a place to move our company.  I reply that we were never planning to move.
Then they hang up on me.  

These are the same people that have been harassing us since January. I told "Angie" that she needs to stop calling and that Ontario and Canada do not have a "Business Development Office" and if they called again I was going to notify the Police. She hung up on me.

They called and said they were from the state of new jersey business development. They kept asking whether the business is planning on moving and whether it will move in 3-6 months, 6-9 months or 9-12 months.

got a call from this number claiming that he was calling from some California government department (I think business development) and asked if we had moved to our new location. Not knowing what this was all about I asked him point blank if he was from a government department and he said yes. when I started asking him questions he hung up.

They called my business too wanting to know if we were moving. When I told them I was busy, but could take a message they hung up. It also seems as if this call is being made from outside of the US

We received a call from this number substantially the same as Tina above; some guy with a British accent wanting to know If we had moved our business yet. I used my standard line - I am on an overseas call right now; give me your name and phone number and I'll call you right back. End of call !  The guy hung up.

My question to you folks who are responding - Do you have an inbound toll free number and/or a commercial website? We have both, and I have a feeling that is where most of these jerks are doing their data mining. If so, they may be developing a data list of business owners who may be motivated to either sell their business or are thinking of retiring or downsizing. My guess is that their work product is then sold to foreign investors looking for business bargains.

Similar to other stories on this website... said they were with the Alberta Development Corp, and when i asked for more info they hung up.

I have been recieving this call for the last two months straight normally they call about once a day, yesterday and today they called 3 times. The woman that was calling me before wouldnt get off the phone or take no for an answer, resulting in 20 minute phone calls just with me stating no

Yesterday they called stating they were calling from California. We are a CANADIAN baed company. I dont understand what they are trying to gain but its frustrating I explained to them yesterday that i already said I have no access to this information so why do you keep calling, they hung up..

I certainly hope that they stop calling soon, as even our CEO of our company has been unable to deter them.

Im just going to start hanging up now that i know the number.

Claimed to be from Ontario Ministry of Business Development and asked if our business move was completed.

Received call this morning claiming to be from Ontario Ministry of business.......they asked if my business was currently at a certain address, I told them it was not.  They wanted to know what my business address was..   I told them if they are from a government office.. They should know what my address is.  She hung up.   Its some sort of scam I just dont know for what?

Got a call and the guy said he was from the California.......I hung up before he could say anything else. The caller sounded like he was from Asia.

JUST ANOTHER OVERSEAS FRAUDULANT SCAMMER, AND STARTS BY TELLIING ME HE IS IN MY AREA, BUT WANTS MORE INFO ABOUT MY BUSINESS. MMM, HE IS CALLING MY HOME, SO I ASK HIM WHAT HE WANTS, AND HE STARTS WITH THE FACT HE CAN NOT PROCEED WITHOUT MY PERSONAL INFO, SO AGAIN I ASK HIM... WHO HE IS CALLING FOR EXACTLY ???

HE STATES THAT HE IS NOW CALLING BECAUSE MY COUSIN ASKED HIM TO REACH ME TO GET MORE DETAILS ABOUT MY BUSINESS, THEN I ASK AGAIN... WHO HE IS AND WHAT HE WANTS FROM ME, AT THIS POINT HE DOES NOT HAVE MY NAME, SO I PLAY THE GAME OF THE OLD TRICK OF PLACING THE PHONE NEAR THE RADIO AND I TURN IT UP VERY LOUD...

THEN HE WAITS AND HANGS UP BUT CALLS AGAIN, I DO THE SAME SEVERAL TIMES, THEN I COME HERE TO POST MY COMPLAINT FOR THIS TELEMARKETING SCAM FRAUDSTER OK :-)

NOTE: THE SAME DUMB IDIOT HAS CALLLED OVER 20+ TIMES, JUST TODAY ALONE... SAD :-(

WELL ITS SURE ANOTHER INTERNET SCAM USING A VOIP LINE, FROM SKYPE PROBABLY, AND COULD EVEN BE IN THE USA OR MOST LIKELY OVERSEAS, IN A DARK ROOM WITH A MASTERS WHIP BEHIND HIM TO GET HIM TO ASK ME LOTS OF DUMB-[***] QUESTIONS...

BUT NOW HAVE A METHOD... I ASK THEM TO WAIT, PLACE THE PHONE NEAR THE RADIO AND TURN IT UP LOUD TILL THEY HANGUP, PLUS IF THEY CALL AGAIN ITS THE SAME ALL OVER...

WELL H E YOU EVER GOTTEN A DAM CALL FROM THE LORD JESUS ABOVE... ALMIGHTY ???
