Calls repeatedly.

Wed 6/27/07 7:47PM CDT. Caller identified himself as from "beachcomber". I said I wasn't interested, the caller then launched into a profanity laced tirade.  I hung up and 10 minutes later he called back with another profanity laced tirade.

Receive repeated calls from this number offering a free trip if I attend a seminar.  Keep telling them that I'm not interested.  Calls keeps happening and sometimes get "creepy" messages on my voice mail or freakish laughing.

Just received a "beachcomber" call this evening.  it came from 888-111-2222.  I first asked the guy for his number to get back with him, and he gave me one. i then said i was on do not call list.  Guy apologized, said it was his first day on the job.   I then told him I wanted to talk to his supervisor and again explained I was on the do not call list.  the supervisor also apologized.  I asked him to comfirm the phone number, reading it back to him (866-337-8171).  He said it was not the right number, and gave me 866-3347-8191.  I registered the complaint with the National Do Not Call Website.  Neither number comes up on the internet.

Just received a call from them... they call daily and I never answer but finally did. She said she was from simple.net and was offering me a no contract internet service. Very persistent and even when I said I wasn't interested and that I was on the no call list she just answered with more "great" things about their internet service. I hung up, she was still talking.

Just called got 888-111-2222 told them I was not interested said he was calling about beachcombers. Said he was NOT telemarketer and was not selling any thing. Hung up. He called right back. Told him not to call again and Hung up.

what a crock, so much for the no call list. beware of the slammers. tell you it's free then suck you in to some scheme. scam if i ever heard one.

Recording about selling health care

Repeated calls from this number... hang-ups, especially after just two rings. When I get to it on one ring they hang up.

Just got call from 888-111-2222 and they are some kind of crazy bottom feeders... Why do those kind of people even bother to try and scam folk? I just hang up very soon or ask them to hold on,, and on,, and on.......

When asked, they said they were calling from "Beachcomber".  No further info.

More bloody [***] ignoring the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY!

I noticed that about the time my personal info was compromised on a major job web site, I started receiving calls from this number. They have my name and know where I live. Tell me that they are from Phoenix Vacation Club and also said they are from a real estate development in Willis, Texas. Have asked repeatedly to be removed from their call list, have been on do not call list for years. I have registered a complaint with AT&T and the National Do Not Call Registry. The callers are always Asian women whose English is not very good.

I believe this number is a fictitious number that more than one company is somehow getting their caller id to report.  I attempted to dial it back twice and both times got "your call cannot be completed as dialed."  As you can clearly see from all the calls listed here, a lot of different companies are calling people with this reported as their caller id.

I strongly recommend all of you to report your calls at donotcall.gov if you are on the do not call list.  Be sure to report the name you were given by the caller.  In my case, it was simple.net.  I also went to ftc.gov and filed a complaint with them there for using a false caller id.  Recommend everyone else do the same!

recieved calls from this number 5 nights in a row.  did not answer until last night.  call was from simple.net.  guy with indian or pakistani accent was informing me of the great deal I had been selected to recive for internet sevice.  i told him i was not interested, but he kept on going until i told him to not call again and then I hung up while he was in mid sentence trying to still get me to sign up.

I have been getting this annoying call.  I have no answered it because of the oddness of the number.

But as a previous poster mentioned it comes up call can't be completed if try and call back

I do this with all the other phone numbers to find out who they are or something when reporting them.

I have put numbers up on the do not call area a few times and sometimes they keep calling

Get 2 or 3 calls from this number each day. Have yet to answer. They never leave a message. Seems might be a conection with job sites; monster, career builders, etc. I too have recently used these sites.
