Calls from this number is about mortgage foreclosures. Most likely, the unenforceable ones where there may not be good documents supporting the bank's foreclosure efforts so the mortgage company will feed them to third parties that encourages you to rehabilitate the documents to an enforceable lien. in most cases 3 months after new documents are signed foreclosure action will be started by the mortgage company.
when the number is called a recording will say "Intake Department".

Received a  phone message from this number.  A 2% loan is in the works for me... with more money for any stress or hardships I may have gone through...This is the last time  I will be called,, etc.   I am going through a loan modification with my mortgage company.   I didn't pick up the phone or call back,, sounds like some kind of scam.  A friend of mine had a similar call and they were ready to go to his house the next day, (SUNDAY) for paperwork to be signed.  He didn't do it.

Recorded call saying this is my last chance, as they have tried to contact me multiple times, to offer me a reduced 2% mortgage and something an additional settlement check for my suffering.  Total garbage.  I'm on the Do Not Call list, so will file a complaint - not that, that'll do much...

Just received this call and I am not buying it.    I tried calling the number and it leads you to an in-take dept. that doesn't pick up.  Also my wife heard it and it frighten her to know end.  Plus we never received anything in the mail regarding information about their business.   It never gave me a name of the company.   Very Strange.

received call and sent to voice mail. Said it had tried me by mail and phone, multiple times, this is my last chance for a hardship modification at a low interest rate for all that I have been through. Huh! Havent had a mortgage in over 20years. This is a scam! Thank you for calling the intake department when you call back and they put you on hold for an agent. Homeowner help center, talked to Jordan regarding hardship loan, told him I do not have a loan. He wished me a "Blessed Day" which I get from a lot of these scam calls, said he'd take me off the list, nice, polite, and he hung up.

My loan is up to date. They said I may qualify for lower interest. It's a total scam! Hopefully people won't fall for it and give out their information.

The left me a message with NO Company Name and NO person name.  Must be a scam.  I am blocking this number.  DO not call them back.  Any reputable company would be happy to leave the company name.

You're right.  If this was your bank or mortgage company, they would send you a letter with your account number.  If your bank has an issue with your account, they rarely call unless there is suspicious activity on your credit card.

People need to educate themselves about ID theft.  It's really easy for individuals and fake companies to get your info.  Don't let them have it!!!!

I am a 100% disabled Marine with 3 kids and i am in desperate need for a modification and to be able to start back anytime with a monthly payment as long as i can roll my past due ones to the end of the loan so it really PISSES me off that there are so many scamers, i dont know who to trust or who will work with me, my loan company has been ok, and to spite my past due payments they have not started any forclosure, i hired a lawyer but she hasnt returned my calls in 3 months but i get an email once a month saying we getting there, now she IS a good person and she took this on free of charge so i cant be mad at her, but i need to get this figured out so i can sleep and eat again, im so stressed about my house i cant do either. i think its time to find a good VA mortgage company and see if they will help me refinance. its sad that so many houses went down in value so little people have equity to borrow against, and many also owe allot more than the homes are now worth, thats one thing i have on my side, my house was worth 568k when i bought it, but has droped to 317k now according to my town, thats a huge loss for me, thankfully i only owe 317k on it so it could be worse, i just wish at least one company would contact me to help save my home without being a scam.
take care all of you, and rember everyday is a gift from what ever God you beleive in, relax and enjoy at least some part of everyday.

I don't know what state you're in, but look into state programs. In CT there is a Finance Housing Authority that offers EMAP loans for qualified people. (Sounds like you'd qualify for something similar) The loan simply catches up your mortgage for you, but the loan rate is incredibly affordable (they put it in a 30yr @ 3%).

    Good luck to you

We don't even HAVE a mortgage any more...paid off over a year ago.I would really like to know how they get my cell number when I have never requested any info on mortgage modification now or in the past. The DNC list is a huge joke. Thank goodness for call blocker apps!!!

JN, criminals do not care about the DNC.  The DNC only applies to legitimate telemarketers.

Caller left the same message about modification and lowering my interest rate. What can be done to these people?
