Someone with this company called my MOTHER 400 miles away and told her they were calling from our county's courthouse and that I was about to receive a failure to appear for a Civil Case.  The number on caller id was actually the courthouse's fax number but the return # given to my mother was CMS Financial.  I called the courthouse and they said they had no record of the case number or of any civil case against me at all.  This was just a very creative debt collector...don't be fooled and think you are about to go to jail...you're not!

Thanks for the information you posted back on Nov 12, 2015. I also received the same kind of msg on a Leo who said he was the county's process serving officer who was coming to my home (and he repeated my home address) with an  "ST 100"  which he said was a  "Summons to complaint to appear on court" and he even left me a case #. I called our county courthouse and spoke to our county clerk and to the court of appeals. They had nothing. Even though their number starts with 888, the rest of the number didnt sound right. She googled the number and come to find out it was a debt collector. I'm getting with the Attorney General on this and provide them this information that was left in a message.

I have reported this number to the FTC. They called twice and claimed that we should have been served by a marshall for a civil case requested liens and wage garnishment against us for a debt from 3 years ago. The scary part of this is that they had a LOT of my personal information. I verified with the local court, and of course, the case number is total BS.

The guy that called me was Leo as well. Creepy they have all of our info. please let me know what happened with the Attorney General

I am having the same problem, a guy named Charlie Parker is calling myself as well as my spouse providing a case number but no such one exists. I have searched my name and case number throughout my counties website and I'm getting that nothing exists. Such a scam.
