I received a phone call about fraud on my m&t bank account. I closed my account with m&t almost 6 months ago.

Whatever you do, DO NOT give them your account information.  These are frauds trying to steal your money, so far they have called me twice.  The first time, I had to cancel my card.  Call your bank and report it as soon as you can, even give them the phone number.

Definitely a scam. My wife had to cancel her card also. Do not call them back.

Sounds legit bit it well planned scam. Sounds like M&T bank its a scam.

I had to cancel my card as well! They've called me multiple times since then and continue to leave messages on my voicemail. This needs to stop.

This is a scam, I gave my account number to them once and IMMEDIATELY cancelled my card and got a new one ordered. But they continue to call and leave messages.

Received a call from 888-212-1773 purporting to be from my bank telling me there is fraudulent activity and my card is on hold - no such call came from M&T
