I got the charges from profitggl ($39.95 and $2.95) and like someone else mentioned. I did business with Bike Nashbar not too long ago. Apparently the unsecured billing at their website is being used to commit this kind of fraud.

Have the same problem. And, Well i do business with BikeNashbar. Seems too much of a coincidence though, as ido business with a number of other sites too.

Same as everyone else, but wanted to chime in that we made a purchase from Bike Nashbar a few months ago, too.

I have also purchased from Nashbar.  This website details what appears to be rammpant fraud.

I contacted the BBB to discuss this with them - the website indicates the BBB has been notified of the problem but Nashbar still has an A+ rating on the site.  I also filed a complaint here with the internet crime government website:

I think the more people who do this the better.

I also have recently purchased from Nashbar online and received the same fraudulent charges.  Seems like their website has some issues...

I'ts for the Google CD which is advertied all over the internet.  They get your card number when you order the CD.  They're the scum of the earth.

Just a follow up... I also made purchases on Bike Nashbar's online store within the last year.  I figured I should mention this as multiple posts have linked these activities to Nashbar's website.

I have definitely made purchases via Nashbar's website.  That's really reflects poorly on their business if their website has such poor security.

i have the same  fraud going on, reb-mill UT,2.29,  PROFITGGL, 39.95, AND FED GRANTUSA.COM, and i never ordered the google cd but it came in the mail  about a week or two ago, and all the charges look like there out of Utah, id love to get my hands on these people in person.

Had the very same issue with a charge for $2.29.  Also had an $1 iTunes charge and I don't use iTunes.  Make sure to look out for that for anyone with an ipod.

Cancelled my card and got a new number.  I'm not going to be ordering from Nashbar again....

Have had charges for $39.95 on my credit card since March 2009 without realizing it. Called today and Chase Bank is giving me a credit. After checking online after not being able to reach the number posted along with the above billing, I see that some of you had charges of $7.95 from Profitggl8882.....looked and me too. What a ripoff.

I have a corporate credit card and the same company charged us $7.95. I called the number, and was able to get a full refund, and verification that they would not charge us again. However, I don't know if I would trust them...

Got an email saying I've signed up for some google cd something for 2.29; they had all my information and such on the confirmation email, but never bought any cd from them.  Called their customer service line, fellow issued me a refund then "transfered" me to supervisor... disconnected and then "someone from that company called me back."  She issued me a refund... Afterwards I still had a bad feeling about this company, called and reported to CC company and come to find out I've been charged for some itunes (which I never have purchased before) and for the google thing.  Did some searching and it turns out that the lady/number who called me back is associated with another kind of CC fraud scam.  Be careful if a number 678-805-0458 calls you back after calling Customer Service 888-216-4952... (Internet said several people have been called by that number asking for them to verify visa cc number.)  It sounds like they are running multiple scams so def. watch out for them and their bogus charges.  They all are associated and should be caught and put in jail.  Still have no idea how they had all my information along with CC number.

I also got two charges on my credit card that I did not order. one was $7.95 and one for 39.95 . Please tell me that this scam can be stopprd!

I have also been charged 7.95 on my visa card.  I have done online ordering
from Nasbar.  I will be calling my bank tomorrow.

If you do go to St. George, don't hang them all -- leave some for the rest of us.

All 4 of these charges also appeared on my account (2.29, 39.95, 7.95 and 9.95).  It is very strange that each charge was exactly 7 days from the previous charge.  I called my bank to cancel my credit card -- and also report the fraud.  I have called FEDGRANT and the woman said she was refunding the charges from PROFIT and FEDGRANT -- we'll see.  She said the 2.29 was a shipping charge and she couldn't refund that.  She also gave me a number for NETWORK AGENDA.  I have purchased from Nashbar a few times in the last couple years.  No more.
