- KC| 1 replyGot a call from 888-217 2701 ext.3005 to my company claiming they are from Hershey Camp LLC. Asked for my business partner, and caller said they have a very important legal matter concerning her and gave a case #. Is this another scam going on out there? I called back to ask them what type of company they are, and the guy hung up on me.

- James replies to KCThis number belongs to Hearshey Kemp LLC, supposedly a collection agency out of Buffalo, NY. It's a fraud. I own a small business and is constantly bombarded with phone solicitations to prey on my employees to say "YES" over the phone. Then a bill comes for a useless service that you did not buy. If you cancel or dispute they send you to "FAKE" collection agencies such as these who try to harass you to pay up. Do not give in to these blood suckers of our society. We need some kind of legislation to get rid of all these "Faceless CROOKS" who rip off $millions from small businesses each year.
- sugarbaby| 12 repliesSomeone name Mrs.Kerr called to speak with my mother she said that she was investigating a possible fraud case. She called from this number 1-646-871-3777 the name private. So she left this 1-888-217-2701 number for my mother to call back.If this is a fraud something needs to be done. She did not give me a company name just that she was investigating a possible fraud.
- Wayne Smith replies to sugarbaby| 5 repliesWe just got a call from, Richard Pino, supposedly from Hershey, Kemp Law firm. He referenced a case number 11120. We had our attorney call him and he was a total fraud. Don't be fooled into returning any calls from this number.
Wayne Smith - BELINDAThe fools just keep calling me. I identified them as a do not answer when it shows up on my caller id. It is the same voice telling me THEY ARE INVESTIGATING MY ASSETS. GUESS WHAT I HAVE NONE..So i never pickup..There out to be a law..

- Rhonda| 4 repliesI have been recieving calls from this company as well. They want me to set up a payment plan. However when I didn't agree to pay what they want then they started yell at me. Today I was given a senior officer which told me that I was SORRY because I wouldn't borrow the money from someone to pay an old credit card bill. When I asked for her name she refused to give it to me. She got very quiet then hang up on me after the 5th or 6th time of me demanding to know her name. Something definatly should be done. I believe this should be against the law. This was a 300.00 bill which they are claiming now its 1800.00 due to so called attorney fees. I am going to report this to the better business bureau and whom ever else that I can. I hope everyone does the same. Rhonda

- Rhonda| 5 repliesI contacted a friend of mine that works for one of the credit reporting agencies. I was told to contact the better business bureau and the federal trade commission. http://us.bbb.org/WWWRoot/SitePage.aspx?site= ... 6e-bd452a591b91. Maybe if we all complain something can be done about this type of harrasment as well as false companies trying to collect money from unsuspecting people. Thankyou Rhonda - GotFedUpI too was getting calls from this company. They would switch the phone to another person to try to get me to verify so-called information. I would ask what this was in reference to and they would say, I will tell you once you verify your SS#. I told them I would NOT do that under any circumstances without knowing who they were and why were calling. This went on for quite awhile, although I told them I was not the person they were looking for and to stop calling my phone. For a while, they were calling from a 901 area code number, although I couldn't find a listing for either the company or the number. One day, I received a call from a local area code number and when I answered they said they were with "Hershey Kemp LLC". I knew it was the same company and decided I was going to get some sort of information from them right then!
I asked the lady to repeat her name, which she did. I asked her for a phone number, and she gave me the 888-217-2701 number. Then I asked her to spell the company name and she instantly became irate. She went into a tirade that included cursing and asking me "do I look like I'm 'bout to SPELL Hershey Kemp for you up in here?" I could just picture her with her hands on her hips whipping her neck around! Ha
Well, I said if you don't want to spell that for me up in here, this conversation is over. Guess what??? That was the last call I've gotten from these people.
I have to wonder, based on what I experienced, along with what I have read here, just exactly these people get paid to harrass someone in such a manner. I can a b*^&% along with the rest of them, but not in this manner, ever, for no amount of money. - C.| 5 repliesI just recieved a call from the same people. They asked for me by my first name but then went on to ask for my ex-spouse by his first name only. I told them that he was my ex and I had no contact with him. They claimed he had listed me as a family member. I asked them to leave their name and number in case he ever did contact me and they left the same phone # 888-217-2701. The lady said her name was Susan Stine and that she was with the company Hershey Kemp. She also gave me a case #. It sounded fishy so I tried to look up the supposed Law Offices online and came across this site.

- TiredThese people are theieves and do not confirm any information they have about you. These people called me at a 646 number at 8:30 at night, who calls about business at this time, but located in buffalo( strange) then the so called investigator does know how to investigate because he could not answer my questions (I work in the investigations field)but want my money and no paper work to prove what your saying ( he told me he did not want to be sued because of the all of a sudden new person that appeared on my case overnight so he could not send me any information) but because of my persistance first I was being sued and then all of a sudden my case sounds like fraud and they're not pursing the issue any further what type of law firm is this? But guess what they may not be pursing the issue but I am all the way to court because this needs to end not to mention he blabbed all of my information and that does not still well with me.

- TC"Anthony Oliver" called for about a month, each call is "solely intended" for my husband about a "very urgent matter". They had started to call and leave a message EVERY DAY. Finally they called when he was home and they wanted information. He ended up hanging up on him after he became belligerent and we haven't heard from them since late October/early November. I just checked the messages and they must have called yesterday, this time it is Special Investigator Susan (what an offical name). . .The calls came from the 646 number referenced by some others as well as another number.
- Caller: Herschey Kemp LLC (or so they say)
- TCThey called again yesterday and said I was being evasive when I would not give information. That set me off so I called back and spoke to Susan. After 10 minutes on the phone, she removed our number from their file after she decided that she is calling the wrong home (my husband has a very common name and we have told them that before). Must not be top notch investigators if they don't consider that. I am leaving the new number that these calls came in on.

- Cat| 5 repliesWhere to begin...?? About 3 weeks ago, I received a frantic phone call from my father while I was at work telling me that this company, "Hershey Kemp, LLC a/k/a Herschey Kemp Agency a/k/a Hershey Agency" was calling to inform him that I am being sued for a breach of contract?!?!?!??!!!! Like Rhondas situation noted on November 14, 2008, I supposedly owed $300 that subsequently ballooned to $1800 due to attorney fees. I searched the number that they gave my father, came across this site, and quickly realized that I’d been scammed / phished / whatever one wants to call it. I didn’t pay much attention to that call or this site; I just simply explained to my father what I found out here and to not worry.
Then today, 12/9/2008, I receive an email from my father telling me that my cousin in NJ received a phone call trying to attain information about me.
I have NEVER used my cousins’ information (phone # or address) as a way with which to contact me. AND I haven’t used my fathers contact information in over 12 years so why this company would attempt to contact either of them is beyond my comprehension.
Anyway – When my cousin attempted to get information from the person/company calling about me they refused to tell him anything and simply hung up. His caller ID, however, showed the number 973-494-9126. I attempted to search the internet - google.com, ask.com, whitepage.com, yellowpages.com and the only info that was available was it was simply a landline out of Newark, NJ.
I called the phone number from home (I blocked my number) and what did I hear when the receptionist answered the phone….. Hershey Kemp!!!
So, this company is becoming more desperate to swindle, con, cheat, trick, bully, intimidate, terrorize, frighten and THREATEN people. This is HARASSMENT and it needs to be stopped.
Fair warning… 973-494-9126 and 888-217-2701 numbers are EXACTLY the same company – if you want to call those scum bags a ‘company’.- Caller: Hershey Kemp
- GotFedUpI posted above on my experience with this company. I continued to get calls. Exasperated, I told them that I had been telling them to STOP calling my phone but they continued to call me. I told them I had made a complaint with the FTC and BBB against them. She told me that I was reported to FTC and BBB too, by them. I laughed and told them to not call me again...she replied that she would call me again the next day and every day after that. I told her, that's great. Please do that. I informed them that I had recorded their call and would submit that along with my previous complaints to FTC and BBB. Then I hung up. That was last week and I have yet to hear from them again.
- Jody replies to Wayne Smith| 3 replieswow I just got a call just like that five minutes ago. A guy name Richard Pino said we're being sued by discover card for around $5000.
- Isabella| 3 repliesI received a message on my phone from a woman who claimed to be a 'special agent' for some agency. As she only used a first name I knew she certainly wasn't an authentic agent; and as she had deliberately slurred the so called agency's name, that only confirmed that the call was a fraud. Interestingly enough she wasn't even looking for me or for anyone I know. She wanted this person to call 888-217-2701 and ask for a particular case number. I am very concerned that she also said on her message that this was an urgent message that had to do with this person's name and social security number. There is so much illegal activity and fraudulent schemes out there that it is really troubling that folks like this are permitted to continue calling people, especially if all they are is a collection agency. I was under the impression that identifying oneself as any type of government agent was illegal.
- Chuck| 5 replies305-356-6736 - call from Richard Pino from "Hershey Kemp". I called the number and got special investigator Susan, so I used a not-very-good Indian accent and asked for Richard "[***]". The woman was confused... and said, do you mean "Richard Pino"? - I said "NO! - I said Richard [***] dammit!", so more confused she says "Do you have a case number?", to which I answer "No". Then she asks for my name and I say "Richard [***]".. so she says "You're name is Richard [***]?" - at this point my almost 2 year-old sells me out by yelling "Daddy, I have to go Poopy!"... LMAO... serves them right for wasting our time... be sure to block your caller ID before calling back (*67 for most phone services)... Good Luck!
