Spoke to a "representative" and she was saying FSC which is their company is brand new that just started 6 months ago. She said they are a mediator between me and the 4 companies that I am in debt with. These companies are payday loans that I didn't take out. Told her I'm not paying you guys because you're all fraud and she was playing it off like I was helping her save us time because I did my investigation on these companies and she will send my acct back to them for further review. What BS!

"Mediator" is criminal debt collector talk for "We don't have to follow collection laws".  Problem is they do.  Which means they are now required to do the following (which they won't):

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
Read up on your rights here, get template letters to send and also make a complaint at this government site: http://www.consumerfinance.gov/

Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

These people are calling my boss and leaving a message for me to call them regarding an issue #.  I do not owe money to any collection agency.   They have already been reported to the Colorado Attorney General's Office, FBI and FDCP.  They have also been notified by mail to cease and desist but here they are again.

Called today saying I owe money from 3 and a half years ago, yet I have never received any correspondence from a company. Their company is FSC and the company they say I owe to is Mesa Financial ( which has numerous fraud complaints). They don't have info to send me in the mail. How convenient. Can you say fraudulent? ?

A lady named Jamie from a company called FSC keeps calling. Has been for the past week, 3-4 times a day. They are bogus and I let them know that I am well aware of it. Asked to not be contacted again. We shall see if they stop calling..

I've asked them for letters & nothing. I keep track of all msg & record my calls to them. I know what I owe & they are not one of them. I told them to give me the info so I can send a check. Their respond is that they only take payment over the phone. I told them that's BS cause how do I know their legit if they won't give me info. Go a head & track me @ work or home haven't moved or changed jobs.

I just got through blocking numbers from another company about payday loans and now I get calls from this place with just a file number.  Since they are calling from UNKNOWN number I can't block them but about to change my phone number.  This is getting really old.  Last company I reported to my local Attorney Generals office.  Maybe I will just get their information and report them too.

about to change my phone number

If you do that, the new number will probably be subject to calls from even more spammers (numbers are recycled).

Consider getting a phone blocker that will block calls when the Caller ID shows "UNKNOWN" or similar words.  Google is your friend.
