They claimed they found something that belongs tome but it is notmine.

A Dave called my cell saying he was from UPS and was trying to deliver a pkg. UPS would not have my cell # and I knew it was some kind of scam so I told him to send his so called pkg. back where it came from and hung up.

This is definitely a ruse.

Got a call on my cell phone from these people, They were looking for a family member who's unemployed and has a number of collectors after him.

They claimed they had a package for him and he needed to sign for it in person and couldn't just leave the package. They also claimed the package was from his former employer. That former employer is owned by another family member who absolutely wouldn't be sending such a package.

Also, one creditor has been attempting to take him to court, so I suspect they are trying to serve papers. BEWARE!

Said my number was used as a referral number from a family member's past employer. Family member is estranged and would have never listed my number as a reference.

Said they were calling to follow up on a reference in regards to someone with my last name, but no one I knew by that first name. Told them I didn't know that person and she replied, oh, we must have dialed the wrong number. They did not call back.

Called me at work and said that someone was trying to use my information to obtain a loan. Wanted to send me some papers and needed my current address. I said why would I give a stranger my current address. He is suppose to send the paper to my job.

Called and said they had a package to deliver that I needed to sign for from JC penney. I never ordered anything. They had a wrong  address and sounded very suspicious on the phone..wanted info from me, refused delivery.

called my house left a message, i called back and hung up and they called me right back spoke with an April Brown who said she had a domestic delivery from JC Penny already paid for $51 & $9 insurance and a tracking #. wanted to know the best time for delivery. told them to reroute it to another address and it never was delivered.

Called on a personal reference for a job--never applied for one.  Friend would not give them my personal phone number.

Received a message from Krista at Nationwide Delivery Service saying they had a package to deliver that had been returned to them and that he package was paid for and insured. Called her back, they did not answer. Krista immediately called me back, said my name did not match the name on the package, I asked her the name on the package and she gave me my sister's name. She asked when my sister would be there so that she could sign for the package. Told her my sister lives overseas, she sounded very surprised. I believe they are a collection agency looking for my sister.

Called about a neighbor with the package delivery story. Suspect its a collection agency or a process server.

Received a call from 1-888-226-3625, on Aug 7, stating that National Express Delivery was to deliver a package from Cachet Basket Co. (actually she pronounced it Catchit Basket Coop.) the next day between 11 am and noon and they needed to know that the person to whom the package was being delivered was going to be there. And to be sure that it was me they needed a password, such as my birthdate, for the delivery person.  When I gave them a date, she said to call back if there was any problems.  Needless to say, NOTHING was delivered and I check the website for scams.  It appears that there are a bunch of phone numbers with the same sort of strange scam.  But what is their reward?  very strange.

Mary called said she was from "United Job Placement", this was a misrepresentation, this is NOT a job placement company,  Do Not give them Any personal information

This is a process server.  Dont tell them when you will be home.

Called my cell phone claiming to be from UPS and needed to deliver a package for a family member.  The caller attempted to get information that UPS would not need.  They then called my home phone and my husband answered.  They gave him the same story, but stated that in order for them to deliver the package and turn it over to my husband they would need our son's password.  Then stated the password was probably his work location.  Be careful!!!!!

I GOT THE SAME CALL FROM BOTH JOB PLACEMENT AND NATIONWIDE EXPRESS DELEVERY AND I TOLD THEM NOTHING AND THEY KEEP LYING  I THINK THIS MAY BE AGAINST THE LAW

A guy going by Jeremy called saying they had a job for me. my mom answered the phone then they got my cell phone # from her. bless her heart she was excited for me until I told her it was a creditor

I got a call from this #. Said they were from UPS sending a package from bestbuy that was prepaid for. Just received it today... They did call a couple of times though, my home phone and cell. I was just going to say they were annoying, but apparently you guys think they are scammers? Well I got my package, just letting everyone know

They called me a few times to, but did end up receiving the package, it wasn't exactuly ups though thier was a different name national something. Anyways got my package s'all good, you guys need 2 chill out
