is Mediacom business.....trying for your business....NO WAY....

tried again after being asked to be removed from their call list.. i 'd NEVER use MediaCom..

This is a business and we do not take persona calla or messages for any one working here.This person calls on a regular basis.

I have received 6 calls in 4 days from 1-888-233-9261 they are representing themselves as Mediacom Cable.  I have repeatedly asked to be removed from this calling list but they keep calling.  Today when I told him I am not interested he told me "Shut up and listen to me".  WTF  I called Mediacom at 1-888-847-6228 and reported this person, whom did not give a name, they told me it would that about 3 months to get me removed from the calling list.  I responded, if I receive one more call from this company or phone number I would report Mediacom to the BBB.  Lets see if I finally got thur to them.

This is really ridiculous!

Here is how I handle repeated junk calls on my cell. I enter the number into my contact list and save it as Junk 1, Junk 2, etc. When that number calls again, I simply look at my caller ID screen and cut the call off with the end button. They will only call about 4 times and quit. The callers are "work from home" individuals with speed dials coming off a calling device. Just do not answer the Junk# a couple of times and the caller will scratch you off his/her list.

I have called them 3 times to tell them to stop calling.  Actually spoke with person and they said they would take care of it.   I know I have received 8 or more calls and most were before 9 am in the morning.

They do not identify themselves. When you call the number media com answers.  It is Media Com, was confirmed.

If you tell them you already have Mediacom and the address they have is incorrect, they will note it in their records and hopefully cease calling.

I have received several calls from this number, they do not leave a message.  I finally decided to answer the phone, after I said hello, there was a click and they hung up.  I have now blocked their number--problem solved.

I have received numerous calls from this number - it is Mediacom trying to get our (ISP) internet business. I finally came up with a way to get them to take my number off their list and get our name off any other telemarketer's list.. When I see an 800 or 888 number come up on my caller ID - I answer and speak gibberish or pretend to speak in a foriegn language. The person on the other end always says "What?" - I repeat the gibberish and they end up hanging up. They must take my number off their list, because I do not receive any more calls from the 800/888 numbers that I have done this to -

It is kind of fun to mess with them and make them pay for the call.
