Recorded message, "If you have been thinking of donating your car...".  It continue on about wounded warriors, etc.  I hung up after about 15 seconds.

Missed a call from (888)-237-3555 I am a truck driver so I thought to call back got an invalid phone # message.

Same just happend on my cell phone that is for work only!  I am in the 317 area code.

This donation robocaller who phoned today but left no message is, based on a search, mercycars.com which entices victims -- uh, donors -- to contributes their vehicles to worthy causes.  Is it legit or a scam?  Only your Attorney General knows for sure.

Now I added the number to my contact list as [***] calling. I will know it's okay not to answer anytime.

Just got this call on my cell phone.  I have stopped answering calls on it from numbers I don't recognize.  I then look them up on the web and save them in a contact called SPAM.  The next time they call it shows that SPAM is calling and I know I can just ignore it.  They did not leave a message.

Called my prepaid cell this AM. Left no message.  214 area code.  Charity or not, I'm SICK of them.  I would never make a donation of ANY kind to some a/h who bothers me on the phone, whether it is a legitimate charity or not.  I pay for this for my use & benefit, not to be harassed!  

These jerks are calling non-stop despite repeated requests for removal.  They illegally use a 'spoofed' number (in my case 713.487.4993) and will verbally abuse you if you call and ask to  be left alone.

Please contact your state's attorney general to stop these people.   The more reports of their harassment the more likely they will promptly investigate and begin criminal proceedings against these scumbags.

Received a unsolicited call from this # 713-487-4993. Did not answer. They left robocall message. wanted me to donate a car, boat, truck or real estate  to help a homeless veteran.

Said could look them up on Cars,zet-(website does not exist. And if it was Cars.net is a open domain address) The local # 713-487-4993 seems to be spoofed.

I got the whole message on my answering machine, it is cars.vet, aka Vehicles for Veterans.  I question their legitimacy as a 501(c) charity.  They may be registered, but legitimate charities make it easy to find their EIN number.  Their's is nowhere to be found on their web site.  There is no street address listed, and they're calling people in CA for donations, even though they're located in Detroit, Michigan.  They also publish no data on what percentage of their donations actually make it to the people they're supposed to benefit.  Again, legitimate charities publish this data and offer a high degree of transparency.  My advice: steer clear, it sounds like one of those charities where donations primarily go into the pockets of the administrators.

They leave messages at my home every 3-4 days.  I called them back twice and told them to remove me from their call list.  The fist time the man was so nasty and hung up on me.  I then called him back and left a message about how rude he is and to stop calling me.  The second time it was the same guy and I reminded him I had already requested to be removed from their call list on 6/18.  He said I would be removed now.  Apparently not!  I got another message today.  Can't wait to blast him tonight.

Scam call requesting car and real estate donations. Called twice already. Left a call back number 0f 858 768 3060.

Bogus non-profit robocall that wants you to donate your car. Goes by different names. For me they used "Vehicles for Vets." I am on the national Do Not Call List, which so-called non-profits do not legally have to respect, although they can if they choose to do so. If you call the number you get a voicemail (no human) that tells you to leave a message and they'll call you back. Very evasive.

I received a call that originated from 248-581-6576 with a recorded message for "Vehicles for Vets" listing this number as the callback number. This is the third time within 2-3 months this organization has called me.

They also mentioned the web site cars (dot) vet.

This is an obvious scam. Honest businesses don't use multiple names.

I called Vehicles for Vetran's phone number to ask them to remove my phone number from their calling list. The jerk hung up on me.
