I rejected this call a little while ago as I was on the phone with a friend.   I don't know the number, it is no one I have don't business with that I know of and if it was they certainly could have left a message.  I googled the number and it showed everything from a Florida address to  the Newspapers.com website.  I won't block it yet, I'll wait and see if the call again.

I didn't answer the call because the number was unfamiliar.  A voicemail message consisting of a brief burst of static was left.  I assume this was a robo-call from a scammer.  An internet search of the phone number returned some classified ads dating from 2003 and 2004 from an Arizona newspaper urging readers to call this number to make easy money.

Received a call from the #. I let it ring and they left no voicemail. I called the number back and it rang twice then went to a busy signAl.

My luck day,  0% interest on all my credit cards, NOT!  Number ring back to a busy signal.

I received a call from this number on April 12, 2017. I had not been in the same room as my phone when the call came in, so didn't find it until I saw the missed call icon later that evening. There was no message and I didn't try calling it back, but I won't after reading all of these posts.

Called yesterday. Caller ID says unknown. No message. Blocked...

Just called & did not leave a message. I don't give confirmations by calling back.

I got a call from this number it was not familiar they left no message so I blocked the number.

Credit card debt scam.  They claimed to be working for Visa and MasterCard and offering to lower my interest to zero.  I have no credit card debt, so this is clearly a phishing scam to get your CC info.

I have been receiving calls from Rachel and credit cards for years (at LEAST 2).  This is one of many reasons we cancelled our landline but was and still is coming into our cell phones.  Blocking the numbers as they come in now that we both have smartphones.

This is the same credit card scam that has been going on for years. I have received these calls for more than 10 years. Yesterday I decided to press 1 and talk to them. This was fun. As soon as he came on asked how I was doing, I replied hi criminal. He goes I am not a criminal. I said don't even try that with me, everyone knows you are. I asked how many people has he ripped off, he said 10-12 just today. Then I asked if his mother was proud to have a criminal for a son. Of course he had a foreign accent, so I asked if he was in India or Pakistan, he said he was from Mauritania. I said you should get a job where you aren't stealing from people. At that point he got tired of me calling him a criminal and hung up.  But it was fun.

Credit Card SCAM CALL

Didn't answer. The voicemail caught a fair amount of the recording, something about lowering interest rates and your eligibility ending soon.

Just got this call.  I answered it (I wasn't paying attention since I am working and my work calls my cell sometimes, so I just answered it).  I said "hello", no one responded, it was dead silence.  Googled the number, found all of this information, and now the number has been blocked.

they wanted to offer me a GREAT deal to transfer my credit card balances....I asked questions, made them clarify many things over and over and over then when they asked the total amount that I would like to transfer and when I said $7.15 they hung up?!?!?! Guess they don't like people WASTING "THEIR" TIME!!!!!
