This caller finally left a number for me to call back.  They have been calling me supposedly as a law firm, regarding a debt I never incurred with Cash Advance.  I have received nothing in the mail and have no solid information about the debt itself, yet they have called a business I work for as an independent contractor, and call me constantly from "unknown", threatening to charge me with something criminal.  Their last call left this number, and advised if I didn't call back today, they say "Good Luck."  When I spoke to them yesterday and reiterated that I had no debt with this company, they hung up on me.

How many number do these idiots have????? I so tired of them I could scream!!!!!! Someone has to stop this, it is ridiculous. They are using so many numbers.

OK these ppl call and say they are from the legal department of some place they had the last 4 of my social security number about a cash advance i never received how do they have my SSN?

I just got another call.  They call at least twice a day some weeks and then maybe miss a week because they are busy calling other people.  If you have ever borrowed from a payday loan company, I believe our information is sold to these knit wits and they call.  Every time they call, the person who is hard to understand,because of his accent, has a different name and number and works for a different law office.
What they want is your information so they can deplete your accounts.GIVE THEM NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. They even call references you have used on application forms.

This may be a scam. Scammers are using bought/hacked loan application data to extort payments for fictitious debts from victims and victims' families and friends.

I have took a call from this number also.  They insisted that I had 3 criminal counts agaist me.  Pretty much the same stuff you guys said.  Guy name "Ray Fleck" did all of the fast talk.  I told him thanks for the call and if some money was deposited to my checking account, I need to do business with another bank because I never got the money.

These guys wont stop now they say that I have until tomorrow to contact him about an unsecured loan that I never recieved. How do u get them to stop

Well if you ever filled out a pay day loan on the web or any kind of application with would have your SSn number cell number or work number that is how they get it, they then turn around and "claim" you got the loan with no proof and call and bug you, so what I did is I call them back so many times they hang up on me, then when I camn leave a message I let them know I filed a complaint with the FTC, AG, and police, so I wait and call back and give them My number and all of sudden they cant or dont have my number, lol.;

YES! These morons just called me at work again today from this number!! I am so sick of them calling me at work, it is embarrassing when my co-workers answer and they start going on and on about how I have criminal charges pending against me and that I better call right back or someone will show up at my doorstep to arrest me.  I can't believe that our government or anyone can't put a stop to this harrassment.  I wouldn't mind so much if they were just leaving stupid messages at home but they are using threatening language at my work and will NOT STOP CALLING ME!!  I have even told my human resources department and they are already aware of other people getting harrassed but can't do anything about it.  These [***] even had the guts to take money out of my account and try to say there was an authorization on file but when I tried to call the number on the check they provided it said this ring tone is not in use yet.!! What a crock!!  That is fraud so I had to close my account and get a new one so they wouldn't be able to take money out of my account again.  I am just so angry and humilated that I tried to apply for a stupid loan and end up getting scammed and harrassed for ever now.  What ever I do I am never providing my personal info on line again that's for sure!

These people are consistent. I need them working for me. I pretended like the person he was looking for wasn't me so I could get company info, but that didn't work. He just kept saying that he couldn't give me that info. I thought of a scam right off top, and hung up on him.

Hey I literally just received a call from them. They verified my identity by reading me my own Social Security Number !!! I was completely freaked out. Then they told me 3 charges were placed against me but I only was able to hear one of them which was from some Cash Lending place. He told me some guy named Tony Johnson was going to be taking me to court because I did not pay back some money I supposedly lended. This HAS TO BE A SCAM because I have never lended money from anytime of cashing lending place!

Call Back Give Them Your Name & Inform That You Know They Are Apart of A Scam & That You Have Reported Them To Your Local Police Department By Giving Them The Number So They Can Shut It Down & That You Have Reported Them To FTC & AG ! It Worked For Me They Hung Up & Wont Answer My Calls Now.

This guy called and demanded to speak with my employee. I advised that employees are not allowed to receive personal calls of this nature at work and to stop calling. He then demanded her personal information and began to defame her character to me. Regardless of accusations, personal information may not be given out. I requested he discontinue calling and harrasing my employees while at work. He said that he would continue to call here and demanded to speak with my supervisor. When I hung up the phone, he called right back and demanded to speak with her. He was rude and shortcoming.

I just got a phone call today - 3/8/11. I have received several different calls from different people on several different numbers, all claiming they have a lawsuit filed against my social security number from a payday loan I never received. I am so tired of these lazy people calling trying to get money they don't deserve. Why don't they get off their lazy a_____ and get an honest job like the rest of us who are trying to make a living. I am going to try what anonymous said above. I just want them to stop harrassing me!!!!

I too applied on line for a loan.  Mistake the caller ID showed 0000.  I man who called himself Dan Richard wanted me to call back as soon as possible to 888-240-7142 or as the situation unfolds he can only wish me good luck.

If it walls like a duck, quzcks like a duck, acts like a duck  it must be a duck.   I received a phone call Friday, 3/4/2011.  They identified their name as Derrick Jones.  iahd applied for a cash advance online, in early January, but becasue they did not offer waht I needed I refused the loan.  This caller tried to tell me that they were taking me to court fro not repaying the loan.  The first time I was shocked, and figured this agency was given false info, but when i hung up i received another call immediately on my ohter phone from a Jason Jones claiming he was from a dfferent company and they weresuing me also for the same thing.  Also, I know the court system does not work that fast.  Then he said if I wanted to fight it I woudl have to take myself and the person I placed as a reference with me to court to fight it.  That night I called my friend and he told me that he received four phone calls claiming he needed to get me to pay this bill.  I got a hold of the FBI, and they have receiv ed other complaints about this number and it is a scam, they are investigating.  I spent yesterday, harassing them.  They calim there address is 1408 Bayview Ct Ft Myers, FL, but that is only because I live in Florida I am sure.  That address goes to A Morgan Law Firm but they have no one there by these names, and they claim it is not them

continued - So This morning I talked to a Raymond Scott, and he claimed they are from the State  of Florida Dept of Investigations - about my bll.  Next I called back and got a hold of a guy who said he was Jeffrey Morgan,  after talking to him, ne called me a name and hung up.  Last time i called to someone new, and I said to him, does anyone tell the truth there or are all of you liars?  He said what d oyou want to know?  I gave them my phone number and he identified me. I asked him to tell me the truth, and he admitted this is nothing more than a scam.  I told him to remove all of gthe numbers they have on file for me, and he reviewed gthe numbers, and I told him I never wanted to hear from them again.  Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire.  But realize that they more than likely have all the information that you put on that first application.  There are over 400 cash advance palces on the internet, Now I see that none of them are legite.

Yes Kim, same $H1+ here 2. They get tough and say you or yr lawyer must get in touch with them over  a law suit. i actually have a friend lawyer so I gave the lawyer info. They HUNG UP!
