They have been calling for two weeks. When I answer, the line goes dead.

Someone finally was there when I answered the phone this time. They say they are from a travel company and I gave them my phone number. Funny because I never give out my home number. I never use it.

I did not answer since i did not get to the phone in time. I called the number back, and was put on hold for a good 10 minutes (waited that long because I have been waiting for a phone call back for a job) while the elevator music just kept playing on and on. So I hung up. What is the deal with this?

Recevived call from rep of cheaptrips.com offering 4 free airline tickets plus other stuff to join their service for $149.95. Here is text of emil they sent after my request:

Someone from this number keeps calling. If I answer there is no one there and if I knot they leave no message.  I have been getting 4 - 6 calls a day and it is very agrivating! I have a baby and the phone wakes her up!

They always call and when I answer I hear alot of background noise and no one ever talks, they sometimes leave messages on my voice mail that are very rude.

I received 7 phone calls from this phone number the last 2 days. When I pick up no one is there and then they hangup quick. I want the phone calls to stop I am on the no caller list I will report it. If it doesn't stop now. They will not even leave a message on the answering machine.

We have been receiving phone calls from this number for over one month now. No response on the other end only music playing.  No live person has ever picked up.  I received 5 phone calls yesterday 5/21/2009 starting at 11:45 am and continuing on every hour until 3:45 pm.  I am calling the WA atty. generals office.

I've been receiving 4-5 calls per day for the last week or so from this number - when I pickup, there is no response or a garbled response possible in a foreign language.  since I carry this phone to work and we aren't supposed to receive phone calls, I only give this number to family members and very close friends who understand they are not to call me during working hours unless it is an emergency - which is why I keep picking up on this number.  Please intercede if you can - this company should lose this number (which probably won't help since they will just get a new one).

I have been getting several calls a day for weeks and weeks at inauspicious times. Obviously an autodialer, www.cheaptrips.com is a possibility.

Same story, getting 4 to 5 calls a day.  No message, no answer when I call, and no answer message telling me whom I am calling.  I have them on auto-reject

I have been receiving calls from this number over the past month. I have received 9 in the past two days. I have told my cell to reject the calls so my phone does not ring but I still get the missed call message. I like others have tried to answer but no one is there. I guess it must be some sort of auto dial system making the calls.

Call every day for last 3 weeks, auto-dialing system no doubt. After reading previous reports, realize it is cheaptrips.com or an affiliate that has gotten my number from them. Cell blocks it, but the missed called keep on coming. One time i answered--silence for about 10 secs. so i hung up.

They have been calling me off and on for several months and asking for "Adam."  I told them a couple of months ago that I don't know any "Adam" and please remove my number from the calling list.  The calls stopped for a while.  After receiving several calls in the last few days, I answered and they asked for "Adam." Again I advised that there is no "Adam" they accused me of lying and then hung-up on me when I said I wanted to talk to a supervisor.  I have now reported them to the www.FCC.gov/complaints.  Maybe they will quit calling now.

Calls at least three times a day.  If you stay on the line, someone from Cheap Tickets picks up.  I've asked them not to call back but that just generated more calls.  I ignore the calls.

Same story as above.  I called the number back, listened to elevator music for about 5 minutes, and then a rep actually answered.  I asked them to remove my number from their database, and they said they'd do it.  Let's see if it works.

I got TWENTY-NINE (29) missed calls today while I was doing homework and while I was in class! WHY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Same story- incessant phone calls with no one there.  It's annoying and creepy!  How did they get my number???
