This phone number belongs to one of those condominim gimmicks.  You know where they say you definatel won a Mercedes or $25 gift certificate if you call within 72 hours.  Big rip off.  Do not fall for their pitch.
Caller Type: Telemarketer

When my friend and I went to Vegas, we were offered a timeshare sit and listen, We went. They gave us what they said they would just for coming and staying 2-3 hrs. Today, I got a letter from a company called AVC. I thought it might be like what I was offered in Vegas. After reading what everyone has to say about this company, I will not call them. I just what to say, Thank You for saving me the headache!!!!

There's no free lunch folks! If you're interested in giving your hard earned money away, try donating it to a local charity or food bank that services others who are less fortunate than you. Also be sure to shred and recycle the paper that these "free offers" arrive printed on, you'll be doing more for yourself and everybody else that way!

I just got a letter from AVC Travel saying "You have WON the new Mercedes Benz M-Class, BMW X5 or Porsche Cayenne... yada yada yada... just call 1-800-238-9720. I usually just throw everything like this away, but this one looked pretty legit so I did an internet search and wound up here. thanks for saving me time and money. It seams like I should be able to take this letter to a lawyer and hold this company accountable for providing what they  say here. It just pisses me off. They're probably pretty sure no one will go through the trouble to prosecute or sue.

I got the same letter today but with a different number to call (1-888-768-6150,Telling me that I won all these things and Royak Caribbean International,Carnival Princess Cruise Line. The Bording voucher looks so real. and another choice was Wal-Mart,Macys and or cash or to shop at a few other places that they listed. Looked s real and I am sure that their are a lot of people that fall for it, As someone said it is a time sharing thing I much rather give to the food bank or cancer fund.It is such rip off.

Thanks for the message board. I just got a letter same Tel#. It really looked good this time and I did consider calling, but I keep telling myself too good to be true. Why do these people have to get our hopes up? Always remember too if you did not enter than how can you win anyway.

I actually called them because the voucher looks so legit. This lady named Alicia picked up the call and everything sound so fake. She raised her voice to me everytime I asked her a question and when I asked her what exactly do your company do, she was screaming at me. Throughout the conversation, she could never provide me any information about the company or the voucher ticket. Definitely a scam!

Igot the same letter and it looked so authentic, but my husband said the same thing everybody else on here has said.  so I thought I would be smart and look it up and I found this site.  thank goodness!  Ironically, our company gives away free air line tickets to anyone who is interested and it's really legit.  Anyway, thanks for clueing me in!

God, if that is even how its spelled.  Same story.  Received voucher. Same number.  ATV Travel.  Seemed to good to be true.  Have me booked for a 90 min tour of some resort, which after that means i scratch a ticket and win one of the four prizes??????  The guy on the phone told me if i won 49,000 $$$ i would be sure not to forget about him???  Sometimes I dislike how optimistic, and in the end gullible i can be.  So this is a hoax.  Damn them for tricking people into a scam who rightfully deserve any of the cruise, free gas card to cover your trip out, hybrid car etc...

No call, just junk mail with this phone number.  "AVC Vacations" saying I won a Mercedes (or a BMW, or a Porsche, or $40000 cash, or a cruise).

What part of the opt out telephone / unsolicited mail do these jerks not understand?
