first thing they did ask for my social security number. what a dum scam!

I receive many calls a week from this number, at least daily! I am both on the Florida and Federal Do-Not-Call Registries. They have been advised to cease and desist, but have not done so. Is there anything I can do about this, please, if anyone knows?? All I know is, this is some kind of collection agency. Thanks!

this number is almost like one that is already posted...it probably comes from the same place...it is a recording..sometimes male, sometimes female...they want you to call back because they have a "very important decision to make that concerns you".

how do you know it is a collection agency.....do you know the name of it and where it is located.......

i am using a little phone with a tele-zapper....works great.....

Recorded voice indicating that a decision will be made without you and they're providing an opportunity to call back.  I receive almost 1 of these per day.

MRS is infested with KING SIZED dumpster trash that belongs in a jail cell. NOTHING they say or do is to be believed or trusted. My guess is they are all orphans because at some point, they all sold their mothers for cash! Stay FAR away from these misfits of society, they are as BAD as debt collectors can be!!

I have received many calls from these folks.  Once they left a message on my voice mail that said "Please hold for an important call.....Please hold for an important call....." over and over again using an automated voice.  Thankfully, my voice mail ended before anyone could leave a real message.  I also notice that they will change the time of day they call, just to throw you off.  Sometimes they will call early in the day, but when that fails, they try the evening and Sundays.

I was visiting a relative and only my family knew I was there. After I left my parents received a call on their answering machine asking for me by name and saying you will answer my call! How they knew I was there is beyond me, it is 3000 miles away. And I am up to date on all my bills.

This company continually calls. They are looking for some woman. I told them that the woman does not live here and they continue to call.

Yes it is a collection agency. Looking for someone that doesn't live here. They have to "make a decision with or with out my input". They don't say exactly who they are and I sure am not going to call back. Bottom feeding [***]! They don't even know if they have the right number or not. Thank goodness for caller ID.

They called.  Said they were collecting for Capitol One.  Asked for a someone that was similar to my name.  Said I have no idea what bill they are talking about.  At the end, they asked for the last 4 digits of my social.  Not sure if you can run a scam with only four digits, you would like the would want the whole thing

These people call my house every single day.  They are calling for my father...who dooes happen to owe a lot of money.  I continually tell them to stop calling my house.  I live in KY, he lives in MO.  They tell me that I must not understand the seriousness of the situation.  I tell them that I am quite aware and tell them not to call me any more.  It is not my debt...call his house...his number has been the same for over 15 years.

How they got my phone number I do not know.  I don't even have the same last name as my father any longer.

These people are sick...normally I am not easily angered, but these people make me want to bust some heads.

They keep calling me like crazy! So I called them back. A guy picked up and after talking to him he took me off the calling list. I hadnt gotten a call since.

Called with "Unknown Number" in the caller ID (which we never pick up) and indicted in a voice mail message that they were someone called MRS Associates. Left some fast talking message about hanging up if you were not the party they were trying to reach (which is not at this number), then indicated that the voice mail should hang up during the three second pause. Also indicated that a "decision" needed to be made - well I made one, not to call them back and pass along their information to others.

they keep calling, when ask them to send me debt validation, they said they send it long time, i request another one, but she was very nasty and hang up. i send them a letter hope to put an end to those scume. they want to collect frm me, what i'm paying for the same things to settle case.
