this number called me earlier too.  They said that they recieved my file and have to make a decision within a short time frame.  They didn't leave the name of the company.  Not sure who it is, or what the call is for.

Has called twice; no company name; received my file (litigation!) and said this affects me "personally".  No idea who/what this is.

The owner of 1-888-274-9871 is MRS Associates.  They are a collection agency.

Received call and was told that this person had received my "documents today" and was reviewing them and that this would affect me personally; for me to call; I called and left message to call me with company name and details or else I would not return the call; this is crazy; they must be required to at least give their company name if they leave a message; very rude person on the message; have no idea who this could be; can't be a creditor, etc; no outstanding debts!! Please help, this was extremely disturbing.

It's a collection agency.  I've dealt with these lowlifes before.  They'll tell you a lot of stuff, all of it BS: "they've got documents, they're issuing a warrant, they're sending over an officer, you've got 72/48/24 hours (take your pick) to respond, blah, blah, blah."  They're not lawyers - they're not even good collectors, just a bunch of lying sleazebags trying to get you to panic with empty threats and continual harassment.  IGNORE THEM.  Or BLOCK THEIR CALLS.  Or laugh at them and harass them right back.  BUT DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION OF ANY KIND.  They're completely bogus and will eventually give up and move on to scamming their next victim.

My guess is they are all orphans because at some point, they all sold their mothers for cash! Stay FAR away from these misfits of society, they are as BAD as debt collectors can be!!

Have received calls twice from this number at work-person on line will not give any information to receptionist about what phone call is about.
In the first call-they said they had to have an answer by noon or they would take matters into their own hands. I did not respond-they then called a couple of days later and stilll would not tell the secretary what the call was in reference to, this time they said I must know what this call is about and that is why I am not taken the call. Now I have 24 hrs to reply to a Rhonda Johnson, otherwise they will have to take matters into there own hands.

Got calleed and they left a message.  It sounded scripted but was very effective in not telling me a thing.  Called the number back and found out that is was MRS Associate.  Now I have them ignored and will giggle at them for a long time.

I got a call from these jerks also.  They asked for a Delante Scott who doesn not even live here.  I guess Delante pulled a fast one on somebody.  I suggest that everyone how gets a call from them send to emails to the email addressed that one poster has put on here.  That should keep them busy for a while.  LOL.  On a side note to those who have gotten upset over this call if you have no debts that are in collection just treat this as you would any other harrassing phone call.

Yup. At first they called once or twice a day. Now it's escalated to a few times an hour even though the calls aren't being answered at all! Annoying.

I received a call from this umber at about 5 PM this afternoon telling me that I had to call before 8PM EST this evening or a final decision was going to be made on my behalf. The message sounded very threatening and disturbing. Since the message left no company name, I googled it and found this list of comments from others reporting this same number. I have no idea how this company got my cell phone number and I surely do want to know in order to change my number and keep it completely private and untraceable. I actually called the number back after 8:30pm because that's when I heard the message and it rang twice connected and then hung up. Now I'm very concerned that during that second between the connection of the call and the disconnection something went through or I don't know. Now a days you never know and you can't trust anyone. PLEASE ASSURE ME THAT THIS IS A FRAUD COMPANY SO I CAN HAVE PIECE OF MIND!!!

Got called like 4 times now! this time it says they are making a decision that does not involve me if i dont call before 6pm Est standard time! I am kind of scared as to what this means!

I have received calls from this company and each time they all say the same thing and some of them stumble over what they are saying.  I will admit that they almost had me when they said I had until a certain time (EST) to give them a call regarding my documents.

I received many calls from this company asking looking for my step sons brother in law. (They liove ober 1000 miles away) The first caller was a sweet young thing stating she was calling for a reference  for an apt rental.  I even tried to fix them up! but didn't provide any infor re: phone or residence.  Now I am getting harassing phone calls.  I  am reporting this to my State's attorney as well as the new Jersey  State Attroney General. Thanks for the info you have all provided.

I too received a few call from them saying what everyone else is saying, about having 48 hours and blah blah blah.  They don't identify themselves, which led me to believe they were bogus in their actions.

I have been getting these calls for months. I have talked to them one time they would not give me any info other than to send money. Now I am getting calls all hours of the day, starting at 8:30 am and have even gotten one as late at 10pm. I have no idea what they want and I am starting to get really ticked off!

I keep getting calls from this number telling me that because I haven't contacted them back, they are going to make a final decision without me and they will report that I have no intent in fixing this matter (whatever that means) I'm getting pretty fed up and I fell threatened by these calls. I'm a full time student and not working at the moment and I have a very young family. This is irritating and extremely annoying. The worst part is that I don't know how they got my home phone number and my cell phone number. I see a lot of these comments being posted, but what in the world is being done about them?? These jerks keep calling!!
