I think it comes from VESTATMOBILERK, whatever that is.  It's in Oregon.

This number showed up on my bank statement when adding minutes to a pay-as-you go phone plan--apparently this is a toll free number for T-Mobile.

i have a prepaid t-mobile account.i added some minutes 2 weeks ago using my bankcard and this number showed up on my bank statement.now i'm good for another year.used 10 minutes last year.they are not making much money on me.

This number is T-Mobile. When you add minutes to your cell phone, they call you back from this number to verify your order. After you place an order useing your bank card, this number will also show up next to the charge on your bank statement.

i too have over $1000 dollars worth of charges on my bank statement. Were you able to get assistance for charges on your bank statement. If there is a resolution to this problem please let me know. Due to being naive, these charges stem all the way back to August of 2008.

I just received my Discover statement and find that I have five (5) charges listed for "Vesta *T-Mobile 888-278397 OR. - The calls were listed one each on June 17, June 19, June 20, June 21, and June 22 - Please inform what I am being charged for.

Yesterday I tried to activate my account  ,But when ever I tried to enter my credit card information.It shows me some error.
So tried 2 or 3 times to enter my credit card information,now when I tried to contact my credit card agencies they gave me report which says chatr/vesta have deducted my money 7 times ,is it one kind of joke.?
How can chatr/vesta charge me 7 times for 1 single purchase ?  
Please reply me asap ,because I need to take further action asap.

I also received a charge from the same company and number that y'all have. I've never had T-mobile. And a few days later I received 2 charges from x-box live. Again, never had an xbox either. I'm seeing lots of reports of scams from both on sites like these, however most happened a year or so ago.  WTH?!

I just wanted to let you know that the exact same thing just happened to me, and I don't even have an xbox or a tmobile prepaid phone.

Can you sat BBB and LAWYER in ENGLISH!!!! You got my number!!!

Please respond you all took money from account and I need it back now this is for a charge that I didn't authorize nor have any knowledge of respond before further action is taken

What a joke! How can you actively work with customers to resolve any issues or disputes promptly and fairly if you can't even speak to a live person when you call. I have tried numerous times to speak to a live person and after being on hold for ten minutes or more every time I call, I am prompted to leave a message.  When I googled your company I was able to find another number and the lady that answered was extemely rude and said there was nothing she could do to help me. Vesta is a SCAM and I highly doubt that you have an "A" rating by the BBB. It says a lot about a company that has a pre recorded message that says please press 1 if you have unauthorized charges on your card. The only way you people stay in business is by stealing peoples money and then hiding behind a recording.

I also had three charges UNAUTHORIZED just two days ago, lucky for me my card company is actually on the ball and put them on hold.  Seems the (good) card companies are now watching out for this SCAM.

I received a charge on my credit card from these a$$bags. I was curious what it was as I've never owned (or will own) a T-Mobile phone. I called the number, I was told to leave a message. I called my credit card; the customer support lady said she's seen this fraudulent charge before. Lucky, I was only charged once.
