Looking for someone I know claiming complaint filed in court

THIS IS COMPLETELY A DAMN SCAM. BLOCK AND IGNORE

Called for a family member with county court and person whereabouts. This family member has a clean record.

These are fools. They are scamming hard working citizens. They are calling relatives of people who have excellent clean records and lying about how they are being sued.We have reported them to local police and they are working with the FEDs to track them.

Had a call never did call them back but have to be a scam

Left a message looking for someone I do not know; said they were being sued by the IRS and if i had any information to contact them.

Left message for me, said will be filing court papers; Okay file them and I will deal with it when the court contacts me

Threatening me with legal action,  is completely [***]

^^voicemail transcription-pretty sure it's a scam

called my mom and sister and said they were looking for me i called them back told them that they were liers and my best friend is a cop i would think i would know if i was in trouble

They called my friend and asked him for info about me.  He gave them nothing.  They called my 20 min later, I hit a button to be connected to someone and they hung up before I could listen to some BS. Total scam...

yea i turned it in two my friens one a sheriff and one a detactive so they call the wrong person lol

Called asking for info about my daughter-in-law. Sick and tired of these kind of calls. Something  must be done to address this problem, makes you feel like, "Why do I pay for phone service ?". It seems like this problem is totally out  of control. I feel for some of the senior citizens who most likely think these calls are legit . How frustrating.

Called just now and left a v/m.  Somehow got my work phone number and my cell number.  Same ones that called about a year ago stating the same thing and I just kept telling them it was a scam.  They called probably 2 dozen times last year - seems to happen every year around tax time.

This should be illegal, they dont have the right person yet they keep on calling,,, they just dont stop...

Called looking for relative, looking to speak with due to "complaint filed in court" and if we knew their whereabouts to "call them immediately." Also name of person spoken in computerized voice. Complete scam. Family member has clean record.

Oh yeah same here... it's that time of the year... they apparently do this every year and elderly people get victimized due to not being aware of these scams.

Called saying a formal complaint made asking for whereabouts of me!! This is a scare - scam...block it!!

called my work and cell numbers at the same time!!  they were both ringing with the same number!!  I didn't answer either because they just called me 3 days ago.  I know this is a scam they have tried it with me before!  after they both hung up, my cell phone rang back twice before I finally answered it and hung up to get the calls to stop!!
