Received two calls from this number. First came yesterday, and no message was left. Second I got today and asnwered. A guy on the other end told that he is calling from Dish Network and he is trying to get in touch with me becuase they are offering upgrades at a promotional price. He then asked for my name, address, and credit card info. I hung up without saying a word. They are fishing for information. It is not Dish Network.

I got a call which I didn't answer this evening. *69 gave me the above number.

After getting many calls from this number, several in one day, I decided to answer one call. The lady said she was from DishNetwork and wanted to know if I wanted to upgrade my movie package. She said she was not a contractor,but worked for Dish in Denver. She knew one of the premium packages I had, so I have to assume she was from Dish. I had just canceled the movie channel she was trying to sell me - again. ID said Out of Area and this may be a violation of Fed CFR re telemarketers. If you are a Dish customer and have asked once to be taken off the call list, they are in violation the second time. If you are not a Dish Customer and on the National Do Not Call List, it is a violation. I did not try calling back to the 888 number but will from a business phone. If you want to complain write ceo@echostar.com (Dish)and see if they even admit that they are behind these incessant calls.

I disconnected my landline service. Called 888-285-9984 from outside line and lady answered "Dish Network." She said she was an employee of Dish in Denver. When I told her I was a customer, without giving my name, she offered to put me on their internal do-not-call list. Too late. No landline phone. E-mail ceo@echostar.com to complain and/or file complaint with FTC. 16 CFR 310.4 (7) - available on FTC.GOV - talks about it being a violation for telemarketer to not transmit company name, if local phone provider has that service. Seems like violation to use "Out of Area." Am contacting legal at FTC by mail in DC for ruling. Good luck trying to talk to anybody at the FTC on the phone!

We get a call from this number at least 4 times a day, every day.

For the last few days, this number has shown up on our caller ID several times a day. I answered it the first time and there wasn't anyone there.  Now after checking the internet, I find it is Dish TV.  They called several weeks ago and I told them to take us off their call list.  We are also registered on the national do-not-call list. I just wrote an email to ceo@echostar.  If they don't stop calling us, we're switching to Direct TV or cable.    

These guys are scumbags.  I keep getting calls from them and wondered why they weren't leaving messages.  I called the number last night and the guy told me he was from DishNetworks and wanted to upsell me.  I told him to remove me from their list.

National Do Not Call Registry on 4/13/2005. Most telemarketers will be
required to stop calling you 31 days from your registration date. Your
registration will (or did) expire on 4/14/2010.  And yet, they called, didn't they.  I just cut and pasted that off a verification email from donotcall.gov

Have received several calls from this number when not home and they have not left any messages.

Have received several calls on my cell phone, no messages and tried to call number back and it had given me the busy signal.

Received four calls from this number yesterday.  They were told not to call Sunday March 18th.

Received two calls today on cell from this number, 3 hours apart no message left.  We did sign up for Dish Network using this phone number.  So it is probably Dish or someone they contracted to. They should just leave a message. Mr. CEO of Dish Network if you are reading this: Just leave a message pal, don't keep calling, it pisses people off. If we want your "wonderful" offer we will call you back.

I have received two calls today from this number.  This is not the first time...this happened a few weeks ago and I wrote you about it then.  I do not answer the phone, so I have no other details.

I have receied quite a few calls from this number. When I answer, there is never anyone there. Extremely irritating.

I received a phone call today on my cell.  My number is also on the do not call list.  She asked for someone else in my family I told her she had the wrong #.

Did not answer phone but did call it back and the lady answered "Dish Network". I explained to her that I was already a customer and she wanted to upgrade my movie channel(s).
