Picked up call, no one on other end

Here we go again, same number, same results. Another phishing scam of some sort. Total BS

Called again, 3rd time today. This time said they are from National Grid and asked for my wife by 1st name only, told them not available, doesn't live here. Total BS scam.

Collections Department recorded call from British-owned National Grid Company.

Got call many times and no one answer. Claimed National Grid for delay payment even though I paid my monthly payment on time. Be aware - do not fall into the trap.

I have received NUMEROUS phone calls over the last week, from this number. The first time they called, a woman said she was from National Grid and they were awaiting payment for an "over-due balance" (My bills are paid on time, every time). I told her that I would have to review my Invoices and would get back to the company the following day. ALL balances were already paid. The number now calls 2 to 4 times a day, every day, with no answer on the other end. DON NOT GIVE ANY PAYMENT INFORMATION!!!!!

This number has been calling repeatedly since last week. When I answer, I hear awful classical music play but no one speaks. Very annoying and a time waster.

Have repeatedly received messages from this number including nothing but music.  Sent text to this number stating "Leave a message as I don't pick up if I don't recognize the number."

They call me 6 times in average a day. Same number, claiming to be National Grid, what a joke. Hopefully someone can ban these scam artists as soon as possible.

Same.  Claimed to be National Grid.  Called National Grid and they have no record of any calls - I'm not even in their system!

Called me 5 freaking times today, I didn't answer any because I read this site first. All national grid bills paid.

I found that number on my mobile phone in the night of 10/11/17. Call register time: 1:36 PM. No message.
Not hooked on phone chats, I tend to forget about he device until I need it :) :( .  So thanks to the  800Notes folks for the helpful comments.

They called me early this morning. I didn’t recognize the number so I didn’t answer. They didn’t leave a message.
