American Army Vets - looking for a donation -- rude people -- call 4 times in 24 hr period

Leave no messages...

Call every day, don't leave a message. On do not call list but that does not work I still get all kinds of tele-marketers calling at all hours.

Called several times over about last five days, never leave message, but sometimes answering machine has noise of someone on line with a lot of background noise, one time, repeatedly said "Hello.....Hello"

Received 4 calls from this number in February, no message. Sorry guys I got caller ID now.

these people are relentless! They called us 13 times yesterday. Today that same number has called 4 times in the last 50 mins. When we pick up the phone no one is there. This has been going on daily except some sundays, for the last 4 weeks. Calls are as early at 8:15 am and as late as 9:20pm. No one should have to put up with this harrassment. I have caller id and now I don't pick up the call most of the time.

Called 6 times on Monday, March 9th at 10:18am, 1:01pm, 1:57pm, 2:35pm, 3:15pm, and 3:56pm. Called 3 times today, Tuesday, March 10th at 11:54am, 3:01pm, and 3:52pm.
They leave no message, and say nothing when you answer the phone.
If it's disabled Veterans, Army, Navy, whatever, not saying anything when the phone is answered is a poor way to get donations.
These amount of calls in one day is bordering on harrassment. Even if nothing is said.

Called 3x in one day ... when I answered and said "Hello" several times, they said "oh, I've dialed the wrong number".  The 2nd time they called I replied with "..two times?!".  And the third time I said "..again?!?!"

That was yesterday.  We'll see if they repeat their tactics today.

Said they were from Associated Community Services and were soliciting donations for the Navy Vet's. Very rude and pushy and would not take no for an answer. Hung up on him.

Left no message.  We are on the National DNC list.

Called said something about the US Navy and was sponsering care packages for overseas service personnel. They needed info and would send out something in the mail.

I got a call from this number this past Thursday and it is the United States Navy Veterans Association. Sending care packages to military people is a good, noble cause, don't get me wrong, but I told them that I was not interested. I then called *69 to get the number, called the number, then, when prompted to leave a message, I gave them my number and told them to take our name and number off the list and not to call us back.

These criminals said they represented associated community services and were collecting for navy soldiers ... they don't know the difference between soldiers and sailors. These criminals are total morons and belong in jail. No regard for 'do not call lists' and the law. They should be prosecuted. Someone out there knows these people. Run them out of the neighborhood! Attorneys: A class action law suit would bring a lot of money. Hit them hard where it hurts! These criminals belong in jail.

Received call from Navy Vets asking for donation to send to soilders in Iraq. Do we walk around with STUPID written on our foreheads. What happen to the "DO NOT CALL LIST". BUT at least he spoke english, so he must be one of our home-grown. HA HA

Caller identified himself as being from the US Navy Veterans Association. I suspected fraud because the caller ID was unknown and as a 20 year vet I've never heard of the USNVA.  The caller wanted a donation for a care package for soldiers in Iraq.  

So why is a Navy charity sending care packages to soldiers (he didn't say sailors) in Iraq when we're pulling troops out of Iraq?  Why are they doing mass solicitation (not the habit of military charities)?

Smells fraudulent to me.

Phone rang, I answered, asking who is this? and why are you calling? Male voice kind of stuttered and hung up.

Caller says hello, hello then hangs up. Calling daily. When I call the number on caller ID I get a message from the Navy Vets Assn. asking for a pledge. Never can speak to live person.
