I received an abusive phone call from CFG, a woman by the name of Carol Graham, her phone tactics were very abusive and demanding.  I would like to have this company and workers investigated.  She has been harrassing me and calling me and saying that :you need to call, that's what grown ups do.  You need to call and take care of your stuff, it's a grown-up thing to do(but this was very abrupt, tactful, and abusive language) this woman needs to be fired, reprimanded or sent to consumer counseling.  This lady has been calling my cell phone harrassing me.
Caller ID: check above information.
Caller: Creditors Financial Group.

I work at CFG and don't break any laws....you can collect legally if you LISTEN to people and overcome their objections.  I will take my leagally earned 20K today and move on tomarrow.  Maybe it is not for you, that's OK, but you can do well in the industry with out breaking the laws- FACT!
Best of luck to you!

Come on down to the coast... you can make $20K flipping burgers and have the bonus of having people like you, and you'll be able to sleep at night, too!

....or maybe you are really pretending to be a loyal employee but are really the sleaze-ball that owns CFG and make 500K on other peoples pain....

I work there too.  I admit there are some BS tactics and stuff that does cross the line.  Some of the Supervisors allow that kind of talk off.  There are those who don't.  I have always found that talking in an adult manner usually is a benifit.  There are those who though think that talking nice is a weakness.  I say screw them.  It is a living until I kind find something else.

they call my house and leave message for someone who does NOT live there. I have repeatly told them they have the wrong number and I have repeatly reported them on the "do not call govt. web site" My phone is registered on the do not call registry.
Maybe they will eventually get fined a stiff amount and get a dose of their own medicine!

EVEN IF YOU ARE ON THE "DO NOT CALL REGISTRY" THAT DOES NOT APPLY TO DEBT COLLECTORS, IT INCLUDES TELEMARKETERS, NOT DEBT COLLECTORS...

6 years ago I was a victim of credit card fraud - it took 3 years and a lot of legal fees to get the creditor (MBNA) to drop the case and have everything removed from my credit reports - I even have a letter from them stating it's been resolved (3 yrs ago).  Well guess what....they still turn around and sell your name to collection agencies -- I battled one about 6 mo's ago, leaving extremely threatening messages, saying they are going to turn me over to the police and you have no choice but to comply.  Took a call from my lawyer to get them to stop-  I personally never returned a call.  Well, it looks like that first company sold me to this CFG, because I've already received two messages in less than a week, they didn't even leave a name on the first one.  My advice would be don't return the calls, these people are ruthless and will use whatever tactics (usually illegal) to scare you into giving them money!

My husband gets calls from this number and a whole host of others like it, apparently the do not call list is meaningless to them.

Do not call lists do not apply to debt collection as a whole.  Why doesn't your husband pay his bills?
