This number has been calling my phone and left several threatening messages each time leaving a different name but it is the same voice.  Calling at 7 am and then I received a call from my former daughter in law whose sister (which I barely know) had called her frantic that some man from this number had called her looking for me that they were about to go to my place of employment and I could be arrested!!  I have researched and found many violations of my rights with this collector and plan to advise them of such!  They had never left a company name or the information on the debt- however yesterday I received a certified threatening letter with the same phone number and a company listed.

I got a call from Norman Strong @ this company. He informed me of a debt that I had forgotten about, and let me know that it was in danger of heading towards legal action.. Mr Strong was very reasonable, and even discounted me on the amount that I was due to pay. I understand people get frustrated when contacted about debts, especially in the current economic climate, as I was tempted to avoid this matter myself. But I do want to position myself for better financial stability, and try my best to keep my credit heading in the right direction. The company sent me documentation, stating that they will expunge the debt from my credit history, which is a BIG help! It's inconvenient to pay the unexpected money now, but in the bigger picture, they are saving me even more trouble going into 2012!!

i keep geting calls from this number telling me there is a suit filled in the county where i live they have called my son and my sister with threats about me also.

this DELORES RICHARDSON has called my 80 year old grandmother's home and given a threatening message saying i could be arrested, which cause my grandmother to panic. I took the number she gave me and i called them back and asked them not to call her anymore, as i didnt live there and havent in many years. I then started getting calls from DELORES RICHARDSON at my place of employment, after i asked for the process to place a fraud case on the debt they were trying to collect on she said "I'm not at liberty to discuss this with you" so i told her not to call me at work especially trying to collect a debt and when i say it is fraud then you wont help me. I have read on line and they are not supposed to threaten you with any type of action that they dont actually plan to take. Also after you have asked them NOT to call you at work they are supposed to cease that, however she has continued to call me and today she called and askef for my human resources dept, the message she left was "THIS IS DELORES RICHARDSON WITH FITZGERALD GOLDMAN AND ASSOCIATES, I WOULD LIKE SOMEONE TO VERIFY EMPLOYMENT FOR STACY ..... MY NUMBER IS 888-304-4882 EXT 4010"...So i read some more on line and it says if you want collection calls to stop then you can fax notificaiton to the company or write them a letter, i called several times to get a fax number and was asked for my name and when i wouldnt give it they pushed the issue so i gave them A NAME and then said now may i have the fax number and the gentleman said im sure i can help you out let me look at your info, i said all i want is the fax number he wouldnt give it to me. i called DELORES RICHARDSON directly and asked her and she asked my name as well and i said legally do you have to know my name to give me your fax number and she said YES and when i wouldnt give it to her she said have a happy holiday and hung up. If we cant get an address or fax number to notify the company to stop contacting us, especially at work then what do we do??????????? pissed off in TEXAS

I have now rec'd another call from DELORES RICHARDSON at FITZGERALD GOLDMAN AND ASSOCIATES, when i returned her phone call i advised her that i do not want her to call my place of employment anymore as i have advised previously, and i asked for her fax number or physical address so that i can send any pertinent info to them, she would not give it to me, she said 'WELL IF YOU WOULD OPEN YOUR MAIL YOU WOULD HAVE THE ADDRESS" i said i do open my mail so if you sent it to my current address then i would have it, she said well what is that address and i said i wont give it to you, you will have to do your job. I then asked her again not to call my job and she said THIS IS THE ONLY NUMBER I HAVE TO CONTACT YOU SO I WILL CONTINUE TO CALL ON THIS NUMBER, and i said legally you cannot do that since i have advised you several times, on a recorded line, not to call me at work, and she hung up. i then called her back and she answered the phone MS. SCOTT when are u going to talk to me regarding this matter, i told her that i have spoken with her about this matter all that i planned to speak with her about it and not to call my job any more, she then said well i have several other numbers to call i will just call them and then i hung up.

I just started getting threatening messages from them.. I am contacting Legal Helpers to resolve this matter.  They called my husbands exwife and said I owed money, called relatives and my office.  I had a situation like this once before and ended up receiving $3000 legal helpers keeps half of but well worth it.  They rude people need to be stopped.  Oh by the way the person who threatened me also lost his job.  I was thrilled at the outcoming.

They threatened my family and me and call all hours.  They won't even tell you what it is about just that you are going to be arrested you are fraudulent person.  Oh and Mr. Brown is going to do a check blast on me and ruin my life.  He says I owe $2900 for going to court with them but he will do me a favor pay right now on a credit card $375 and will be done.  I don't even know what I owe on.  Alex Tanner was first person spoke too and then put supervisor on.  They are a bunch of losers and have filed with an atty to find out what this is about what I owe and why they harrassing friends and family.  These people need to be put behind bars they are low life nothings.  I am a law abiding person don't understand what this is how can they do this.  OMG.  They are all just jerks.  Taking me to court in my county blah blah blah and I asked what is this for and he goes you are being arrested and having check blasted done to you.  Never heard of this one, but my atty is pursuing them and hopefully we will collect for the stress they have done to me and my family.  I can't believe these people.,Can someone answer this who are they what planet are they from.   confused.

i too have gotten misleading "court letters from this company fitzgerald and goldman. i looked up my rights thru my attorney general in massachusettes. they cannot assess court fees , lawyers fees ect they are a debt collection agency and will harass you. i am filing suit.

You must be the debt collector because 99.9% of the people who deal with collectors that threaten to take all manner of actions know that every point you recite is pure and simple BS.  Make sure you get back with them, the number of times they contacted you, to be certain they DO "expunge the debt" from your credit report.  My thoughts are they will not.  They already break federal and state laws with their threats.  The next thing I would watch for is efforts to tell you that the debt has not been paid and more threats of legal action or worse.

In November 2011 BBB requested clarification of the relationship between Goldstein Henderson and Weiss (GHW) and Fitzgerald, Goldman and Associates. Shakir Bilal, Legal Dept./Bankruptcy Liaison responded that, "GHW is another business entity that was started by our company President Leon Martin back in 2005. Although Mr. Martin gave an earnest attempt at fair collections, and office management he was somewhat unequipped to handle all of the administrative tasks that came along with his endeavors, and therefore allowed some things to slip between the cracks as he assembled his resources and strengthened his entrepreneurial foundation. As a result there were some unanswered BBB complaints, as well as unfiled paperwork that took some time to bring up to speed; this was the history of Goldstein Henderson & Weiss." Honey it has been proven that these FAKE wanna be attorney's are screaming people, There fax
number is 443-391-0091. You can fax a STOP calling letterthey wont obey it because they are a scam. Just take the time to contact the FTC and file a complaint. (Its free) They will eventually catch these screemers.But rest assure God going to get these people for taking advantage of his people.

I recieved a call from Fitzgerald,Goldman & Associates at my place of employment from a Norman Strong. Mr. Strong was very rude to my Supervisors, Manager and Co-Workers with illegal collection tactics saying he was going to serve me legal documents today and that I would lose my job. Through all of this he never spoke with me until I got home and gave the company a call.

I believe the name of the Legal Dept/Bankruptcy Liasion is the giveaway here - Shakir Bilal.  Wonder just how much of the Bankruptcy Code Mr. Bilal is familiar with.

How "businesses" like this continue to exist and escape federal and state rules and regulations and prosecution is something I will never understand. With a grade of F and not even being a member of the BBB, you can be certain that FG&A is an upstanding firm ... NOT.  One should NEVER call any of these so-called businesses back.  Once you do, you start the process over again.
