Received phone call on my cell phone, asked for a name, when I told then I didn't know who they were talking about, I then stated that I was going to change my number unless they stopped calling for this stranger, the caller then stated, "Well then change your fu@#en number then!!" Then he hung up...

I received a call from this number today at 8:55pm and the guy on the line asked about a check written on a Money Market account.  I told the guy that I didn't know what he was talking about and then he asked me for my social security number, I told him that I was not about to give him my social. He then said "how can I confirm who you are if you don't tell me your social? If I could guess your social then I would win the lottery!" I said I am not going to give you that info.  He then hung up.  I called him back and answered the phone with a simple hello and said his name was Lawrence.  I asked him why him called? He then told me to pay my fu@#en bill and then hung up.  This guy is obviously scamming people to give him their information in order to do some wrong.  I never had a Money Market account nor did ever write a check with a Money Market account.  This guy is rude, unprofessional and did not even tell me who he worked for nor did he identify the company he was calling for.  I believe this is a scam caller and I will be reporting this number to the phone company.

CPC could also be a collection agency name Central Portfolio Control

some little [***] named "MELISSA" calls my home ph # at 8AM seeking someone I never heard of. I caqlled this little [***] back & found she with a company called CENTRAL PORTFOLIO CONTROL (CPC) & she then wants to argue with me telling me she can call ANYTIME as well as to argue that I know the person she looking for. I will now stop at NOTHING to persue litigation as this was NOT the first time these idiots have called!!!
