Called on 2/17/11 and said they would send a uniformed officer and a process server to my work or place of residence if not called back within 3 hours.

Received call about sending a uniformed officer to place of business to serve me papers for a debt.
I am afraid that this may be an attempt to collect money from me illegally because I have never heard anyone do collections this way.

Flagerant FDCPA violations....NOTHING will happen so no need to worry ok...just another shill debt collector or scammer

Called on 2/17/11 and said they would send a uniformed officer and a process server to my work or place of residence if not called back within 3 hours. Said their name was Pacific Asset Group Also used the phone number (760) 637-3711  The guy said his name was Oscar Johnson.

Called me from a blocked number how origional.  Said I had a 2 hour window of opportunity to call them back or they would send uniformed officers to my home or place of employment.   He made it seem like the swat team was on their way..  HAHA..

I got the same message.  I called them back with the case number and then someone called me back two days later.  I called them back and told them that if they call my house again they will hear from my lawyer.  If they were a real debt collector they would have a real name.  Don't fall for this scam.  They are just trying to get information from you.

Such a scam!  I called them back ten times just to mess with them and it was so clear that it is a bunch of college kids in a dorm somewhere trying to collect personal information from you.  DON'T FALL FOR IT!  As a matter of fact, it sorta made me feel better to call and mess with them back :o)
