I just got a call from this number- pre-recorded message and I am not sure who it is 888-314-7101

I'm guessing this is CSIR, They are a scam collection agency.  FIle a complaint with the FCC.

If able keep blocking their numbers.  Apparently when one gets blocked to many times, they get another one.

It is always prefixed with 888-314, so you know it is them.

looking like a cram. it was recording. like to destory there phone service.

Just got a call from this number saying if I did not call back there was nothing he could do to help me! What the heck?!? Doesn't state my name or anything! Jerk!!

I called them back twice.  The first time they said, "thank you for call corporate office, how I can I help you". IMMEDIATELY after I hung up, they called back on my home phone and left the same exact message!!!  I called them back again and I got a recoreded message saying "Thank you for calling CSI..." blah blah blah.

Had them just call me, there was a male's name at the beginning of the message..James something. I didn't pick up but he left a voicemail saying something along the lines of me needing to call him back right away but didn't say my name or anything personal. He sounded very aggressive.

Things like this are why I screen my calls. :)

I got this call today from a fella named James. he said he was with C.S.I.R he did not say who the call was for just that it was a time sensitive message and if not responded to he could not help me. you already know this is some damn collection agent. they better stay off my phone.

I got the same call with message saying he was James Cachet. I didn't bother to call after I read the previous posts.

This Number Call Me Asking About Someones Name And The Hung Up,iCall It Back And He pretended He Had Phone Issues And Hung Up On Me Again Icall Back He Kept Hanging Up On Me Which Mad Me Mad So I Kept Calling Until A Lady Answered Then I Asked Who They Were She Said cis or something And Ask Me For Infomation On Some Ladys Name And I Said No Thanks And Hung Up They Call Me Back That Time I Just Didnt Answer

This guy called all aggressive like previous posts...csi demanding I say who I am before they will tell me what they are calling for. I asked him to identify who he was, and he stated some private investigator. I told him he called me and should know who he called. I gave the number to my immature friends to prank when they are bored.

The same dude, Cachet or something, like he was reading from a script, same annoying charm as mentioned above.  Saying he can't help me if i don't respond.  This assclown can help me by trying to help someone else.

Received a call from James Cachet at this number he didn't leave his info only the same threatening toned message as stated "my name, if you don't call immediately I can't help you then the number repeated. Since I know my credit score this can't be a legitimate call. Tried them back and got a recorded message and for me to leave my name and number... reporting to FCC with recording tomorrow. Couldn't even google any info for them except here.

Second call this month occurred today.  Same message as above - "James Cachet", "nothing I can do" BS.  first number was 888-314-7131, today's was 888-314-7101.  Screams scam, for sure.

Same as Kate, the first time around it was 7131 last four, now it is 7101. Before when they called four times in one week, I contacted the FCC and the Atty Gen of the state of CA. Thought it actually did some good. I actually called this number back as I did the other number and it was the same lady answering the call. Again, asked if I knew someone named Lorena (didn't catch last name). Obviously, these scammers don't give up and don't like being told no.

I get the same call...daily. I have no clue why. If they were a scanner, they'd be trying to get your information. Instead, they just don't answer the phone when you call back. Sheesh. Annoying.

sounds like this James Cachet is a previously recorded message that is probably called from an auto dialer - more than likely a collection agency with questionable collection techniques.  Maybe the Federal Trade Commission should be informed so they can research the deceptive collection attempts by this organization.

I just got a voicemail, wasn't even a missed call on my phone with this number, the guy sounded kinda sleepy but told me I need to call him because he is going to help me. Is this related to any type of agency or what information does anyone have about it? I got a previous missed call from # 1-888-893-4129 and the guy was screaming that he is not gonna be playing phone tag and I need to call him back now. ???
