called, unknown number, nobody there

I also get a call from 888-317-5906 just now. No any voice message left.

I too, was getting phone calls every day, twice a day. I called back and required to have my number removed, they say it takes 24 hours, but alas it did not work. I called the 1-888 number, and they have a website, and this phone number (416-850-9357) and spoke with a live person, and asked her to remove my number from their calling list. I told them it's been going on for weeks, and she said it will take 24 hours, and I said I've been hearing that all week. I also told them they have 24 hours, or they'll have problems.

Calling me about 1 time a week. Seems to be some kind of chinese calling list, going to have to check it out as I get sick to absolute death of these things. I call them back using Skype. I think I'm going to Skype crank call them 1000 times a day until there business collapses.

they have been calling for WEEKS and I have had enough, so today, I actually answered. It was "Sears Financial" (though I doubt it.)

The woman mispronounced my name, and then proceeded to tell me the call was being recorded. (I pray it was.)

She started into her spiel, and I told her I was stopping her to tell her I was on the do-not-call list and I needed to be removed from the list immediately, and if they called me back again, I would make their lives a living hell.

call received today, shortly before 4pm.  Clearly a "call centre" of some type. Person knew how to pronounce my surname. Delay on the phone line rendered it impossible to have a conversation. I hung up.

I called back the number, from a different phone number not the one they called me at, and went about their automated system to have my number removed.

The lady called me and speak very fast to me. I did not catch her meaning and I did not know who is she.i have to hang up.

Called the number back and was given the automated option to remove my number from their calling list.  Hope this works.

SEARS FINANCIAL... at least 2 calls a day...

I am getting a call from these people EVERY DAY for the past 2 weeks.  In the past I know its been SEARS FINANCIAL.  They say: 'You recently bought appliance XXX.  Buy our extended warranty."  I tell them I am NOT interested and that I am on a NO CALL list, and if not to update their files.  No luck yet.  I'm going to follow up with Sears.   I called their Customer Service Inquiries #: 1-888-391-3047 and had them update my file so that they don't contact me for anything except to send me their catalogues.

They call my cell phone 2 to 6 times a day, but they have their moments. It can be everyday for a week or so then it stops. Then it starts again a few weeks later!!
Really annoying! I keep my cell phone on silence so I don't hear them calling but I can imagine a person who does not have their cell phones on silence, it must be very annoying!

just tell them that the person they want  died, it has  worked with some other telemarketers.

It's from an out sourced telemarketer for Sears Financial, trying to sell some kind of insurance. I told them I'm not interested but the person just drag on and on, regretted to take the call.
