i got one too. they called me four times? within three hours. im eighteen so i dont know why it would be bill collectors.

seem to be some kind of scammer.  multiple calls, no message, no ringing more than once or twice.  obviously designed to badger recipient..

they call me constantly for a certain woman, which i'm not.

I've received several calls from this number on my cell phone and it rings once or twice and they hang up.

Called several times -- CVCS Credit Bureau Collection Services. Never left a message. That's all I know.

Received a call on my work phone with a message from Kathleen to call back.  Tried to call back to notify Kathleen I was not the person she was looking for and she was calling a work number, but could not get anyone.

they call us constantly, (and have for years so we know this person has not had our phone number for 9 years), looking for someone else - by the name we don't even know if it's a male or female they're looking for.  they call over and over even though option of "if this is not X press # ", which we do.  Then they insist "Kathleen" needs a call-back from us.  Our next stop AT&T, then State Atty Gen if this collection agency does not stop harrassment of the WRONG PEOPLE !

Has been calling for months.They do not identify themselves or what the call is about.Now they have switched over to calling in spanish,which I do not speak,nor understand.I could not understand who they were even calling for.

I didn't answer when they called, but the voicemail sounded like a pocket/accidental dial. Weird clicks/bumps every once in a while, and a lot of background voices (none could be heard clearly). Toward the end there was keyboard typing, then it ended.

these people just called me.. the line was absolutely silent as i kept saying "hello?"  i called back  and it said that all their rep's are busy but stay on the line and theyll take my call because it's "very important" to them. ridiculous

Ok, so they called back again and I missed it. I'm calling them back as I type this. As annonymous said, a recording does say "your call is very important to us", and asks you to stay on the line. After that there's silence for a very long time.

A man answered and said he was with CBC Collections (I think..I couldn't hear all of it). I asked him why they were calling my cell phone, and he said he was looking for someone (I won't put their name here). I recognized the name because I've had debt collectors call my cell phone every few weeks for as long as I've owned this number (2+ years now). He then told me he'd remove me from their system, and was very polite about it.

***If you receive a call from this number and miss it, call them back and they will remove your number from their system. If you have a cell phone, most likely the person who had that number before you had debt collectors calling, and the collection agency doesn't know that the person doesn't own that number anymore.

They called my cell phone looking for my fiance who lives with me. It was for a debt that was incurred during the divorce of his first marriage. What I want to know is why they had my cell phone number for a debt he incurred during his first marriage!?!?! Anyways I called upset and they assured they would remove my number.

I got a few calls from this debt collector. It was always a recorded message to call another number. I took Bkid's advice and called them back. A representative answered right away and I gave them my number which they had connected to a business. I told them I was an individual that had this phone number for 2 years. They apologized and said they would remove my number from that account. I will post again if I ever hear back from them.

I have talked several times and asked them to stop calling as the person who may had my current number.  They seemed rude and not listening, Hung me up twice without committing to remove my number.  Since, it is a tollfree number, I will set up an automated diaing the 888-325-3826. And will dial continously until they removed my number.

Hope the cost of 888 service will make tme stop this nonsense

I missed the call, then when I called back a lady answered the phone I told her my phone #, she said who they are looking for. I told her that was not me and they said they will remove my # from their list.... Problem solved... For now!!!
