THEY SAID THEY WERE A CLAIMS MEDIATION COMPANY WITH A COMPLAINT WITH MY NAME ON IN CLAIMING I HAD WRITTEN A CK TO BEST BUY IN 2006 4 $50 AND IF I DIDNTWANT TO SETTLE THEY TAKING ME TO COURT FOR $1450. WE GOT DISCONNNECTED WHEN I SAID I WANTED THEM TO SEND ME PAPERWORK CONCERNING THIS MATTER. I CALLED BACK, AND HAD WAITED OVER 5 MIN WAITING TO BE RE- CONNECTED TO MY CLAIMS REP.....F**K THEM

They just called me. Left a message saying "They just received a complaint with my name "Chris Casad" said in computer synthesizer sounding voice. The rest of the generic message is said in a lady's voice, who by the way is no lady if this is indeed a scam which it certainly looks to be. They gave a complaint number , which probably works for everyone when someone calls in. I will call them back and if it is a scam , I will tell them they have been reported, better find a new number.. and while they are at it, a new scam. Word is out.

I called and it went to a message machine saying to leave your case number. I told them what they had told me, case # 1577204. I said if it was a scam they would be reported and if it is I don't expect a call back. I told them if they do, we'll see what happens. They never said who they were when they called. The answering machine doesn't either. It must be a scam, the only reason I'm so angry with them is because my Grandfather was deceived by people like them and lost most of the money they took from him, causing him and his children to suffer great trouble and suffering.

Received a voicemail claiming the company (does not identify itself) has received a complaint against me and that I need to call them to discuss the matter. The complaint is supposedly against me in my maiden name. I have no intentions of returning the call as I am sure it is a scam and if not then said company should (i) identify itself when calling and leaving a message and (ii) can contact me in writing about any issues/complaints.

If all of us are getting the same generic messages then it's a scam. Any collections company, etc. is required to clearly identify themselves by the Law. If they won't or don't give you their company name, address, business & fax phone number then it's a scam. They have to give you identifying information such as the name of the person you speak with, & the rest as a legitimate collections or mediation company according to the 'Fair Debt Collection Act.' (FDCA)  They have to send you information in writing for you to see what it is - but DO NOT give out your address or personal information, they should have it. Tell them to fax all info to a fax you can get the paperwork from. Refusal to do this is a violation of the FDCA and shows it a scam. Also there is a legal cap on the amount they can collect.

These are cold-hearted, ruthless people who love money, crime, sin, and hate.  Don't call them.  They do not love and find nothing wrong with upsetting you by making such bogus phone calls.  It's a shame no one except themselves can stop themselves.  This is what happens when you love sin, you hurt others, and enjoy it.

they just called my phone telling my fiance they received a complaint in his name & to call them i call the number it just rings and rings and then no listing of the company name or anything. I had something similar happen to me before so I googled the phone number no business came up
