Comes from "800 Service" which of course covers a multitude of sins. No message left.

Got it again this morning, Feb. 16 @ 9:45. Fortunately, my Panasonic call-blocking worked, so it only rang once. (I wouldn't have picked up even if it had gone the full 4 rings.) No message left, of course.

It was a women claiming she was calling for the "Autism Foundation". Caller ID was "Unavailable". They have been bugging me all week. Yesterday the number used was 888 790 2773.

A women called and asked for me.Don't know  how did she get my name.They called once a day for the last 5 days.When I answer the call she hung up.I called back a recorded message says"Thank you for calling the autisim ......"

My system blocked a call from 888-330-4072 today.  Yesterday it was 888-790-2773 as was reported by "Joe", above.  Last year this Autism foundation ran a campaign that rotated through a list of 12 numbers, then, to my horror, used the same numbers for ANOTHER 12 days.  They are using a different block of numbers this year.

My new voipo.com phone service (not spammin', it just works right!) lets me block many hundreds of numbers if need be, but one can also block an entire area code, like 888*.  Now i check my web-based call log once at night to see how many crap calls failed to interrupt me.  Today it was 4.  I now have 89 blocked numbers on my list going back to last April (23 of them are from Portfolio Recovery).  The list exceeds the blocking capacity of most home systems (i've tried them all).

Tim, thank you--yours is one of the most helpful messages I've seen in a long time. For anyone else taking a look at the posts for this particular number, 2 of the more recent numbers that this "I'm not even sure now if it's legitimate" organization is using are 888-790-2773 and 888-325-8583.

I'm going to leave a post on those two numbers that they check out this one so they can see your post. And I really am wondering now if this couldn't be a case for the FCC. What this so-called autism organization is doing with the constant changing of numbers should be something the FCC could regulate if they get enough complaints. I know there's a website for the FCC, but can't remember at the moment what it is. If I find it, I'll post back.  Thanks again.

This number calls and just hang up. Why do we have call block if they come in unavailable? This needs to stop

How annoying.  We all should gang up on  them by calling at the same time.  Maybe we can then jam their phone lines.  This needs to stop!

Called my fax line - I hung up on them.

This is from the Autism society FALSELY saying they are from the Autism society, and when all they are is ONE BIG FRAUD looking to FALSELY GET YOUR MONEY.  They have called me from 10 to 12 different phone numbers.  I never answer but today I did.  I blasted the woman and threatened a lawsit if they don't stop calling me.  They call at ANY TIME OF THE DAY.  Their favorite time is SUNDAY NIGHT around 8 pm.

I just found out from previous posts that this number is from a false Autism society looking for donations.  We've been getting these calls for a couple of months and don't answer them.  
But it is quite annoying.

This number is being "spoofed" by Complete Credit Solutions, a Debt Collector from Texas, attempting to gather information to create an account with someone.
