I get 2 calls from them also, no messages, just hang-ups, anybody know where they're located ?

The firm's name is Monarch Recovery Management, dba Academy Collection Services.

They are scum. The FTC fined them 2.25 mil a couple of years back, and they've been featured on Dateline (NBC).

Justia lists 34 pending suits against them.

They can go F themselves. [***] they are. They should be water bordered and thrown out of the country. Nothing but bottom feeders hitting on people who were screwed by wall-Street and banks.

We can tell you what we're calling about, but just need to verify personal information...NO.  No SS, no BD, no information.  My credit is flawless and these [***] clowns call....really?

Got a call, don't know these people and left no message. Don't call again or I will get with my lawyers for harassment.

These people called me again on my cell and leaves no message. They called last Tuesday and here it's Tuesday the following week. I don't know you stop calling me.

Okay..so it's like fake or something?  Because I just turned 19. I haven't owed anyone in my life...

These people called and asked me to erify MY SSN and DOB.  I told them that I was not dumb and was not going to offer any information to them.  The lady became agitated and said we would just sit there and hold the phone because by law, she couldn't tell me a SSN that may or may not be mine.  I said oh no we won't be holding the phone, she asked was I ready to answer her, and I said nope! She said well she has all day, I said so do I and I hung up the phone! She called back three more times, and when I didn't answer, eventually she stopped

I think they bought my debt.
I don't have any money.
I don't answer their calls.

low life collectors even call on cell phone numbers NEVER given to anyone but family!  And they hide their Caller ID so you won't know who's calling- pretty sure that's illegal!

Like others have said, I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. What is interesting is that I have very good credit and don't owe anything - no mortgage, no car, credit cards all paid. So I guess it's some sort of scam
