This Lady name Luanna called me and told me I was the 11 finalist to win a car supposedly i have enter to a contest to win this car in a mall. Her Ext. is 25
Deborah with Pacific Mornach called me that I've won $2000 by submitting an entry at some mall where I never been to. This must be SCAM!!! Is there anybody really win something????
Just got a call half an house ago. Said I'm one of the finalist to win a Mercedes, 100Grand, or vacation of my choice (Hawaii, cruise, or smaller trips).
The lady said that her supervisor will need to give me a call to give me the conf. code. When the supervisor called she said that this is a Timeshare Resort Presentation, will be about 90 mins. She mentioned the name Cabo Azul, I think that's the name of the resort.
since we are broke, I'll just go see the presentation. It's not like they can squeeze any $ out of me anyways.
I did enter for a drawing at Brea Mall couple months ago.
Damn. I got this call today also on my answering machine. They referenced a drawing I filled out at a movie theatre in Visalia, CA. They even gave the movie name. They said my wife and I are finalists to win a Hummer, Mercedes, or 100,000 dollars. I was going to call her back tomorrow eager to see what prize I am going to win.
Now I know it's just a sales call for a presentation. They should of called April 1st, not April 2nd.
So what happened? Someone called me an hr. ago at home and at work saying the same exact thing they told you. Only that the resort they represent is from Las Vegas. Other than that, everything you just mentioned is the same crap they told me. Scammers.
I got this call today also on my answering machine. They referenced a drawing I filled out at a movie theatre in Sacramento, CA. They said I am in a drawing to win a car or $100,000. When I asked it this was a timeshare thing she said yes, This is a TOTAL SCAM!!!! the girl advised me that anytime you see a drawing for something, its probably a timeshare company trying to just get business. Nobody really wins the "Grand Prize". I will never fill out a drawing card again!!! BEWARE!!
Got a call yesterday (Apr 24th) saying that I had won a prize. Either a trip to Hawaii, las Vegas, a cruise, or a home theater and that I was still eligible to win a grand prize (A Mercedes). I do remember filling out the form at Horton Mall in San Diego so I thought it was for real. I got suspicious when told I could only claim the prize by actually having to go to a presentation and that I had to be 25 and married. These are the 3 things that you need to buy a timeshare so now I know that this is probably a timeshare sale. That being said, I feel like I am being tricked here into buying something but I have been to this presentations before. As long as you are able to say NO, NO, NO, NO, NO for 2 hrs but show that you are interested they will give you your prize as promised. I am not sure if I will be going to this particular presentation but I will keep you posted
Just got a message from them today and calle back. Same as everyone else, come see a 90 minute presentation about a resort in vegas and win one of five prizes.
Has anyone been to the presentation? Im contemplating going, since the worst prize (home theatre DVD player) is still worth sitting through 90 mins of infomercial.
Also, they sent me a text message too that just said "Please call 18883427935x76"
Received a call from 'Marylou', 888-342-7935, X-12570 -- same pitch - $100K, Vehicle, vacations. Information was obtained from an entry form I had filled out at a home show over a year ago. This is just a timeshare company trying to drum up business. Lesson learned: Do not fill out entry forms. I'm not a good timeshare candidate. I find it much less expensive to travel and stay in nice places when and where I want rather than to participate in these programs. But I do understand that everyone has a job to do and they're just doing theirs. Good Luck, Pacific Monarch!
